Below the Stele of the Five Immortals Arena, there are six lines of large characters, representing the arena masters from the fifth to the tenth arena. Beneath each line of characters, there is a large blank space.
This is obviously where successful arena defenses are recorded by carving into the stone.
For instance, under the fifth arena master, there are hundreds of small crimson characters, stating that in the 74th Year of Taixuan of the Great Zhou, Xiao Zhen defended the arena for five days and carved his name into the stone.
There are about thirty such names.
The calendar system for carving into the stone is somewhat complicated, as it follows the emperors' era names of the Great Zhou. Those unfamiliar with the Great Zhou Calendar would not understand it.
