"Dead, all dead!"
The Dragon's Rest Tavern suddenly became lively. The Richmond Family's mansion was still ablaze, and those who came to watch the excitement began to return to the tavern. Even some who were unaware of the situation came to the tavern to inquire about the news.
The tavern was a place for disseminating information. Here, a mix of people from all over the Mainland gathered, making it a hub for various rumors and gossip.
It was well past midnight, almost dawn, yet the tavern was instantly packed. Too many guests had arrived; some tables were squeezed together, and even the empty spaces were filled with extra tables.
The entire three floors of the Dragon's Rest Tavern were bustling as if celebrating a festival. Yusuf Zuck's solitary table now had six or seven new occupants. Although they didn't know each other initially, they each ordered their own small dishes. Yet, as the table filled, they quickly became familiar, behaving like friends of many years.
