Norton Jarvis tilted his head and thought for a moment, then said, "I like them both."
Bruce had spent three years with his son, while Norton Jarvis had only been with him for a few days. For his son to value Norton as much as Bruce was already a good sign. Seventeen smiled and asked, "How about letting Mr. Jarvis be your dad?"
Daniel looked at his mother with confusion and asked, "Don't I have a dad?"
"Uh?"
Seventeen suddenly found it hard to talk about him being a test-tube baby with her son.
Just then, Norton entered the room, also donned in a hazmat suit again. Seeing the little guy awake, he grinned and said, "Daniel, you're awake."
"Mm. Mr. Jarvis, what did you bring?"
Norton lifted a wooden bucket and said, "Oysters, a whole bucketful."
