After leaving the hideout our little Spider-Army reached the city in no time.

Then once we did I searched until I found a highrise with a roof big enough for all of us.

Now standing on its ledge, Miles stood to my right.

While my Gwen stood on the other side of him.

The other spiders standing behind us, just watching.

"Alright Miles, time to take that leap of faith." I told him.

"R...right." He nervously replied.

Miles then inhaled before exhaling. After which he then jumped off the side of the building.

Me and Gwen jumping off right behind him.

The other spiders following suit.

As we all started plummeting towards the ground each and every single one of us shot out lines of webbing to nearby buildings, and then started swinging.

Miles taking the lead.

"Wo-ho!!!" He shouted with glee, as Miles swung through the city, even running across the top of cars and the sides of buildings as he did.

The rest of spiders following behind him, until a few minutes later we all came to a stop atop another roof.

As we did Miles turned to face us. "Okay that was amazing."

"I know right." I replied. "And it will only get better from here on out." I told him. "Still, I don't think anything will ever come close to your first time."

"Okay, okay, I think that's enough jaw jabberin for now." Noir said.

Leading Miles and I to look at him.

"I mean we still need to give Miles some fisticuffs training before we do the mission." He said. Before quickly throwing a few jabs into the air.

"Oh, what's this now? You're actually supporting Miles now?" I asked.

"Yeah." Noir replied. "Since it turns out the kid is made of sterner stuff than I thought."

"No, it's actually because we didn't give him a true chance." Earth-65 Gwen admitted.

"We were so focused on comparing him to us we forgot we used to all be him in the beginning." Ham explained. "But thankfully Gwendolyn reminded us."

"No problem." My Gwen spoke up.

"We're sorry Miles." Peni said.

"Ah, don't worry about it." Miles replied. "I get why you guys were being like that. I mean compared to all of you I'm...well you know." He mused. "And this mission is a big one, so I get that you were just trying to prepare me for it."

"Only to go about it in the wrong way." I added. "But hey, it happens." I mused. "Now then, into the combat training."

After saying this I turned Miles in the direction of Peter B.

"Okay Miles, time to face your first opponent."

"What, no." Peter B. denied. "No way. I'm not doing this. Nope. Um, seniority Spider-Man rule. I am exempt from all combat training."

"First off that's not a real rule." I replied to him. "Secondly, didn't you already agree to show Miles some stuff? So why not some fighting moves? I mean, you want him as prepared as possible for his new role as Spider-Man before we all go home, right?" I questioned.

Feeling absolutely no shame as I guilt tripped Peter B. into helping Miles train.

Especially since he needs this as much as Miles.

To help him get back on his feet and be the Spider-Man his world, and his family, needs.

"I... ugh fine, I'll do it." Peter B. grumbled.

My guilt tripping having worked like a charm.

Damn, sometimes I even amaze myself.

Once Peter B. agreed I quickly turned part of the roof all of us were standing on into a makeshift ring.

Then after I was finished I placed the duo in it and then let them have a go at each other.

Leading to Miles getting beat down.

Which doesn't surprise me.

Since although Peter B. is large and in charge at the moment, he still has over 20 years of experience being Spider-Man.

Which counts for a lot.

A fact I am seeing right now with my own eyes.

Even as Miles added in his camouflage and venom blasts powers Peter B. still won all of their fights.

Then once I felt enough time had passed I spoke up.

"Okay, stop. That's enough." I said.

Leading Peter B. and Miles to stop fighting.

"Good showing Miles. Same for for you chubs. Now, switch out. Miles your next opponent is Noir."

"Oh thank Jesus." Peter B. said. He then moved out of the ring, while holding his back.

"Wait, I have to fight Noir next?" Miles asked me.

"Of course." I replied. "Since this is training. We're trying to prepare you for what's to come. And to face it you'll need more than good equipment you need skills. Fighting skills especially. That's why you're going to fight each and every one of us a few times. So get ready private Morales. Because he'll night has just started." I spoke.

Leading me to grin under my mask.

Miles visibly shivering at my words.

But instead of complaining he just took everything we threw at him like a champ.

Until eventually we finished his combat training for the night.

After we did we all headed back to Aunt May's.

But not before we finalized our plan moving forward.

Then once we did all of us spent one last night preparing, before we launched the operation to destroy the super-collider and for all of us, except for Miles, to return home.
