SCARLET'S POV
The party was going fine. I was half concentrated on the party and on the case on ground. I'm curious to know if Carlos Brown is around at the party or not. I just want this nightmare to end once and for all.
"I'm feeling hungry. Need to eat something spicy," Taylor said, placing her hands on her stomach.
I shook my head at her and chuckled. "You're hungry? The party started not quite long and you're already feeling hungry. Don't let me call Derek over now," I threatened Lory.
Lory gasped at my threat. "Don't call him! That dude never ceases the chance to grab me before I put food in my mouth. Why did I even tell you about my hungry state in the first place? Now trust me, I won't tell you when I want to get the food," Lory promised, rubbing her hands together cunningly.
She can plan all she wants. I won't tell her when I'll call Derek to go after her. Truly, it'll be nice to see Derek and Taylor together. I know they like each other, but they don't want to show it.
