YOSHI'S POV
It was the end of the year as I waited for my exam results to come out. Before we went to that, I realized how chaotic my life has been this year. My plan to stay low in the academy this year might have succeed, but my plan to steal the Scroll of Seals had failed. I have planned for Hiruzen to come to my 'birthday' party along with Naruto and yes, it was a childish plan since I wanted to avoid suspicion. Then, after Hiruzen had come, I would go out to pretend to buy juices or something, but in actuality, I went to sneak into the Hokage's building. That's....what I had plan to do. But I threw away the plans as I heard from Kakashi that the Hokage was busy and could not come to my 'birthday' party.
Well, part of me was glad he didn't come. After thinking back everything through, it's logical for the Hokage to decline the invitation since we were just kids and not some clan kids. The 'birthday' party plan was bound to fail in the first place anyway since they were many flaws that I overlooked. And another thing that I almost forgot and almost slipped from my mind was the Anbu's that was stationed in the Hokage's office. What would happened if I decided to go with my childish plans and sneaked through the Hokage's office? I would be dead. Well, the fake party was still going on, so that's a given, I guess.
I sighed while thinking about it. That was the most embarrassing plans I have ever made. Me, being a kid was hard enough, but making a plan that could be done by my child body was difficult. I wondered how Naruto could just steal the scroll casually. I looked at Naruto beside me who were having a yelling match with the girls about something.
Naruto would steal the Scrolls of Seals three years from now. It would be easy if I just wait and let him steal it first before taking a peek on it after him. But, if I went with that, the biggest problem was the Hokage. In the show, Hiruzen knew Naruto stole the scroll earlier than anyone else through his cyrstal ball that he used to spy on Naruto. Now, the question was, since when did he started to spy on Naruto? I rubbed my forehead. It was too much of a risk to take. If I was spotted, then it would be a 'goodbye to freedom' for me. So, I decided to first, focus on completing the Academy's missions and then revise a new plan for the scroll mission later on. The scroll mission would be done on my fourth year at the academy which was the graduation year, few days before Naruto steal it.
The bell rang as Iruka-sensei came into the class. I looked at Iruka and saw he was holding a clipboard. He stood at the front of the class while speaking loudly.
"Alright, class. Settle down. In my hands are your exam's results. I will announce it from top to bottom."
Iruka-sensei started to call out names from the first place to the last place. Uchiha Sasuke on the first place followed by Sakura and Hinata. Then the other Rookie 9 was not bad either. I got the middle place below Kiba which was fine since that what I was aiming for. Kiba was dissatisfied that I was below him. Apparently, Kiba had expected me to be rock bottom like Naruto since most of the time, I was either sleeping or daydreaming during classes.
I looked at Naruto. He was seemed to be nonchalant about his results as Iruka-sensei lectured him for the bad grades and Naruto just straight up being deaf as he looked away. Well, I knew he was sad and mad at himself on the inside for not getting good grades too. But, he's the main character, so plot armor would come to you later, Naruto.
The rest of the day at the academy was spent doing nothing while others either speaking or playing with each other.

(After school)
3rd POV
Yoshi was now back home as he closed the door of his house while rubbing his neck. He put down his school bag as he walked towards his bedroom. Inside of his bedroom was not a bedroom anymore. His desk was full of papers of portraits of people's faces and on the board he bought few months back was filled with notes and events that would happened in the future in the Naruto world. Unused or crumpled papers were scattered on the ground, some even got under the bed.
"Sigh. I should probably clean my room."
Yoshi said to himself as he laid on the bed. He looked at the ceiling as he daydreaming when suddenly he got up and went to the kitchen. He then grabbed a kitchen knife and went into his bathroom. Yoshi was sitting in his bathtub as he turned on the water. As the water filled in, Yoshi put the knife on his wrist then with one swift and fast movement, he slitted his wrist. Yoshi watched as the blood flowed out of his wrist fast and into the water. For extra information, the order of keeping an eye on Yoshi has been taken back by the Hokage two months after the operation. Now, no one was watching him and he could do what he wanted as long as it was hidden from prying eyes.
Yoshi slitted his wrist multiple times again as the previous wounds healed. At this moment, there was nothing on Yoshi's mind except blank space. This was what Yoshi called 'blank mode' as in in this mode, he would not think of anything and would just stared into nothing like a doll. By harming himself, he went into blank mode and forget about the stressful things for a short period of time.
As time passed by, Yoshi's clothes and wrist were full of blood. Even the water has turned from pure to red. Yoshi looked at his wrist that was full of red and fresh scars.
"Right. I still have the list of 'Suicidal plans' to test to. Next year would be good"
Yoshi said to himself as he slitted his wrist one last time before got out of the bathtub. He changed his clothes into fresh ones. After that, he put an ointment on his scars- not like it would do anything- before wrapped around them a new and clean set of bandages.

(Nara's Household)
"Shikamaru. I'm glad you didn't settled for the second last place this time." Shikaku said to his son as he moved a piece of shogi from his side.
"Yeah. I tell you it was troublesome." Shikamaru replied to his father as he moved his piece.
There was silence as the conversation stopped before Shikaku spoke up, his eyes were not leaving the board game.
"How's he doing?"
"Just as you said. He's not outstanding much, or he doesn't want to be outstanding."
Shikaku hummed at his son's words as he continued playing.
"Why him? It was troublesome to spy on him." Shikamaru asked out of curiosity as he moved a piece.
"Well, I don't know, actually. It was the Hokage's order. What can I do?"
Another silence passed between them as the sound of them placing the shogi's pieces could be heard.
"Dad. Is he a threat to us?"
Shikaku was silent for a minute as he thought on how to answer him. At last, he settled with a question.
"How about you, Shikamaru? Do you think he's a threat to 'us'?" Shikaku asked without leaving his eyes from the game as he moved his piece and checked mate his son, made him as the winner.
Shikamaru looked up to his father as his father looked at him too. They were staring at each other as if speaking to each other with eyes only. Soon, Shikamaru sighed and rubbbed his neck awkwardly.
"I just hope he would not be a trouble in the future."
Shikaku chuckled at his son's words before it turned to seriousness as he looked at the bright moon. Shikamaru of course noticed it but didn't say anything as he followed his father gesture and looked at the moon silently while enjoying the peace they had now.

"Kai, when will we strike back? It's been months already."
A woman with jet black hair that reached her shoulder asked the man that was sitting across of her with a frown. Her black cloak was hanging on her body.
"Have some patient, Shira. We'll strike back when the times come."
A brown haired man said with a gruff voiced as he was known as Kai. His left green eyes looked over at a map on the table in front of him as his right eye was white and a scar ran down through the eye.
"How's the village? Any leeway?"
Kai asked the other two men in the room, Xeno and Ray. Ray decided to step up and answered the questions, albeit a little nervous.
"There is one. But we have to wait for it for three years from now."
Kai was silent at Ray's words as he was thinking about it. After seconds passed, he spoke up.
"Alright. We'll wait for it for three years. Give me the details about it in the report later. I'll tell our superior about us prolonging our stay here."
Kai said as he marked a 'X' on the village called Amegakure on the map before got up and walked into his private room.
As Kai left the room, Xeno walked towards the table and looked at the map.
"What does Kai wants in Amegakure? If I remembered correctly, it's just rain there, right?" Xeno, the shortest of them all asked as he scratched his dark blue hair.
"It is rain there. But, this is Kai we're talking about. He would never let an opportunity passed by him when he sees one. Let's just hope that his plan would not kill us." Shira said as she leaned back and crossed her legs with crossed arms.
Few moments of silence passed by them as the cold wind could be heard outside. Then suddenly, Ray decided to spoke up.
"What in the hell are we actually doing? I heard 'that thing' is here. And we're out here catching after a kid."
No one replied to him as they don't know what to say to that, or perhaps they were afraid to say what's on their minds. Xeno rubbed his neck awkwardly as he slowly walked out of the room.
"I'll have the night watch tonight with Xeno." Shira said as she got up and walked past Ray before going outside, leaving Ray alone.
Ray sighed as he rubbed his forehead, trying to ease the sudden headache. He brushed back his black hair and leaned on the wooden wall. Some times later, he decided to excuse himself for the day and went into his shared bedroom.
