Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

Ada clicked her tongue lightly, her lips curling with amusement as she glanced sideways. "Your mouth never matches your heart. People who insist they don't like something are usually the ones most deeply attached."

"I was thinking the same," Teri said softly, forcing a smile. "Jill is completely tsundere."

She tried to sound casual, but her eyes lingered on Jack and Jill standing close together. A subtle ache stirred in her chest—something sour, something uncomfortable. She swallowed it down. She had already chosen this path. If she said she didn't mind, then she would smile and accept it, no matter how her heart twisted.

Jill shoved Jack away with both hands, her voice sharp and loud. "No."

"There's no time for this," Ada said, her expression turning serious as she glanced at the intelligent watch on her wrist. Numbers flickered rapidly across the display. "We need to leave immediately and rendezvous with the commando unit."

"The Red Queen won't let us leave peacefully," Jill said coldly. Her voice was steady, but her eyes were dark. "She'll use extreme measures to stop us."

"Yeah… that AI is terrifying," Teri muttered. The memory of being controlled, of losing her body and will, still clung to her like a shadow. Even now, she felt chills just hearing the name.

"No matter what, we move now," Ada said decisively, already walking ahead.

Jack followed with an easy smile, hands in his pockets as if they were heading out for a stroll. "Alright, ladies. Let's hurry."

"Call Teri your 'madam,' not me," Jill snorted, quickening her steps. "Hmph."

Jack leaned closer to Teri, lowering his voice. "Honestly, Jill likes me a lot. Her pride's just too strong. Break that pride, and it's over."

A dangerous glint flashed briefly in his eyes. "Once her pride shatters, she won't have anywhere left to stand."

Teri didn't reply. She only smiled faintly, unsure whether to laugh or feel uneasy.

---

The Moscow Simulation Field had become a battlefield.

The commando unit was under relentless attack, gunfire echoing through ruined streets and shattered buildings. Smoke drifted through the artificial sky, illuminated by flickering fires and muzzle flashes.

If these were ordinary zombies, it wouldn't have mattered.

But these weren't ordinary zombies.

Some of them drove vehicles with terrifying precision. Others wielded firearms, firing in bursts that showed training and coordination. Aside from their decaying faces and distorted movements, they looked disturbingly human.

"FUCK!" a bald man shouted, ducking behind cover. "Leon, what the hell is wrong with these zombies?"

It was Luther. His voice carried disbelief and fury.

Leon, his long hair matted with sweat, fired calmly and reloaded. "Don't ask me. Just kill them."

A scream ripped through the chaos.

One of the commando unit members was dragged down as a roaring power saw tore into his body. Blood sprayed across concrete walls, painting them crimson.

"This way!" someone shouted desperately.

They rushed into an underground station, boots pounding against the steps.

Suddenly—

A thick, muscular tongue shot down from the ceiling, wrapped around the commando member holding the circuit diagram, and yanked him upward in a blink.

Luther, Leon, and the remaining two froze.

Above them clung a monstrous Licker—five to six times larger than normal. Its muscles bulged grotesquely, veins pulsing beneath translucent skin. Saliva dripped from its gaping mouth.

"ROAR—!"

The creature dropped down, jaws snapping. The man was bitten cleanly in half.

Without hesitation, the survivors opened fire.

The Licker roared, leaping toward them.

Then—

Engine noise thundered through the station.

A Rolls-Royce burst in at extreme speed, tires screeching as it drifted sideways. The heavy body flipped violently and slammed straight into the massive Licker.

"ROAR—!"

The creature was hurled into the wall, concrete exploding outward.

Luther stared in shock. "Who the hell—?"

The car door opened.

Alice stepped out, her movements calm, her eyes sharp. "What are you waiting for? Invitations? Get in, boys."

"ALICE!" Luther grinned despite himself.

They jumped into the Rolls-Royce as Alice gunned the engine.

Inside the car, Alice spoke calmly. "I heard gunfire and figured you needed help."

"Where's Ada?" Leon asked, glancing around.

"She's fine. She's with Jack," Alice replied.

"Jack?" Luther stiffened. "That guy's here?"

"Yeah," Alice said lightly. "That lunatic goes wherever he wants."

Leon's eyes lit up. "Is he really the one who scared Wesker?"

"Trust me," Luther said grimly, "you don't want to meet him."

Gunfire erupted behind them.

Alice checked the rearview mirror. A horde of motorcycle-riding zombies was closing in—fast, armed, relentless.

The chase began.

Bullets tore through the air as Alice weaved through obstacles, driving like a demon possessed.

Then—

A thunderous roar shook the ground.

A cargo train burst into view, metal screaming as it tore through the simulated city.

Jack stood at the front of the train, wind whipping his coat, eyes blazing with excitement. Ada, Jill, and Teri were inside one of the cars, gripping handrails as the world rushed past.

"Well well," Jack shouted, laughter echoing. "Let's raise the opening bid!"

The train plowed through zombie bikers, crushing some instantly, flinging others through the air like broken toys.

"Hit it! Ready, beauties?" Jack yelled.

"WAIT—!" Teri screamed.

BOOM!

The train smashed into a military off-road vehicle. The armored jeep flew upward, spinning before crashing down in a violent explosion. Zombie riders were crushed into pulp.

Some of the remaining zombies turned their weapons toward the train.

A rocket launcher fired.

The missile screamed through the air, streaking straight toward the cargo train—

The moment before impact stretched, heavy with tension.

Jack's smile widened.

"Now this," he muttered, eyes shining, "is getting interesting."

The explosion was inevitable.

And the battlefield roared.
