"Burn them all! Kill the slaves of the tyrants!"
Hundreds of civilians are chanting in unison, led by a man with an iron mask. The civilians stormed the military base, the police office, and the SHR base in Melani City. The news of the monster's death and the massacres that occur in that day sent waves of rebellion and chaos throughout the world. Many will come to remember the day as "The Red Globe" referring to the blood spilt all over the world at once. The fighting and chaos seemed to peak in Melani City, as most of the population had been influenced by the Followers of The One. Most believed that the rulers must be brought down and were willing to be the army of the so-called "Chosen One". The news of the monster's death faced different reactions. Some of them grieved, some of them fell into despair, some were in disbelief, while a lot of them chose to fight, and fight they did.
The situation of the city was getting worse. Melani City was unique because it is located in the conflict zone, between the territory of the Outsiders and the Rulers. The Rulers have fought before to capture the city, only to be met with incredible resistance from the Outsiders, until both sides decide to abandon the city completely, thus leaving an opening for the Followers of the One to take advantage. The city now seemed to be completely controlled by them, as other organisations and authorities were quickly swept through, decimated by the followers.
The man with the iron mask was approached from behind by a lady, seemingly manifested from a mist. "Kramer, what are you doing?" the lady asked.
"Defying the tyrants as usual," the man answered.
"By killing the innocents?"
"They are as guilty as the tyrants the moment they choose to bow to them."
"The chosen one is dead, Kramer. Yennefer and Kyron have fallen in battle. Molley and Stanley are unknown. We have lost all hope of changing the world. We should flee while we still can."
The man gazed upon the woman's eyes, rage filled his eyes as he yelled, "Then what did they die for? Do you wish for their death to be meaningless, Jasmine? We fight so that we may honour their sacrifices, it is the only way!"
"This is not how we honour their legacy, Kramer. They wished to change the world for the better, not burn it to the ground!"
"The world doesn't want to be better! Sometimes we need to show them how ugly the world is first for them to realise how shit their lives are!"
"I quite frankly disagree," a voice of another person, a man, coming from right behind Kramer.
"Who...!?" Kramer turned around to face the man, but it was too late, as a red blade cut through his neck, decapitating him. Lord Yamikani has arrived before them.
Jasmine was in deep shock, but immediately covered the entire area with mist. Yamikani swung his sword at her, but it went past nothing but mist. She has disappeared. "Curses, I knew I should have killed the woman first," Yamikani thought to himself before noticing a sudden movement in the mist.
A metal fist appeared out of nowhere, moving rapidly towards Yamikani's head. Yamikani dodged at the last second, swinging his sword in retaliation, only to be met with more mist. The metal attacker disappeared into the mist.
"Now this is getting annoying," Yamikani said as he closed his eyes. The metal fist once more approached Yamikani's back, but this time, the Lord of Kamira was the one to disappear into the mist. The metal figure was surprised as the mist began to disappear. The lady once more manifested herself. "He disappeared!" Jasmine exclaimed. The metal figure was revealed to be Kramer himself, surviving Yamikani's attack. "He must have retreated, quick, we must gather..." Before Kramer could speak another word, Jasmine was cut in half right before his eyes. Her upper body slid down, falling to the floor as her blood began to soak the ground.
"Fyuh... that's better," Yamikani stood behind her corpse. "I suppose there are indeed some benefits from listening to that Molly girl after all."
Kramer launched himself towards the ruler, in rage, but Yamikani simply cut him in half as well. Kramer reattached his severed metal body and went after Yamikani once more before Yamikani used his aura to crush Kramer's body. But Kramer simply wouldn't yield as his metal body began to fix itself. However, it was clear that Kramer was protecting a single part of his body more than the others. Yamikani saw that and simply smiled. "Farhan would have loved you, another reason why I should kill you," as Yamikani prepared his sword for another attack, but this time, instead of slashing, he took a stabbing stance. "You know, it is quite wise to not tell your friends where your true weakness lies, but it is utterly stupid to tell them you have one to begin with."
Yamikani brought his entire sword towards Kramer's heel and destroyed it. Kramer screamed in pain, but he was determined to kill Yamikani. Kramer's fist was inches away from Yamikani's head, but the ruler was simply faster. Within a second, Yamikani slashed Kramer's metal body into thousands of pieces, but this time, permanently.
