Chapter 13 - Do You Believe Me Now?

Sukrucuk, whose fever dropped a bit after my last words, was trying to calm down, albeit with difficulty.

"Brother, these things can't be done alone anyway; look, I am with you, my skill is Unstoppable Punch!"

As soon as I realized that I made a mistake by saying my skill from the man's color turning red again, I tried to cover it up.

"I punched someone, I fell here because of the events after that; divine providence saw it fit like this, it wouldn't be right to rebel!"

I thought Sukrucuk must be a believer since he came to this state due to only one sin; my aim was to let off his steam by attributing what happened to him to destiny.

"You are right, one shouldn't push some things too hard. So, tell me, what are we going to do after this!"

My partner was coming around; I was going to slowly instill the online game mechanics he didn't know into him.

"Brother, look what it says, 'while active' in the skill; so you will use this when you want, and when you don't want, you will hit the enemy normally in the middle of the mouth."

"Does this mean I won't always be like this?"

"Exactly brother, when you form a party, you will be a tank, armor and shield and stuff will be bought for you; then you will do a lot of work with this skill!"

"A party will be formed, and I will be a tank!"

It was obvious from his tone of voice and the dominant exclamation at the end of the sentence that Sukrucuk didn't understand anything from what I said.

"No matter how much I explain, it won't be as effective as showing; we will kill these types together, but first I say let's go see some friends who might want to join us."

Taking Sukrucuk with me, we were going to one of those who didn't believe my words; I guessed I would find her waiting for me eagerly, having learned her lesson by now.

"Brother Max, you finally returned!"

The little girl's situation was exactly as I expected; obviously, she had gone and read the inscription after our little talk.

"What's up, we were just passing by, or were you waiting for me here?"

No way, she hadn't used her first chance, and on top of that, she had shown the audacity to say I was lying; if I backed down immediately, I couldn't control the situation later.

"You are doing this because of what happened before, right? I'm very sorry, I won't disobey you again!"

While her eyes resembling two huge almonds, contrasting with the smallness of her face, started to water, the little girl spoke stuttering here and there. While we were killing a Fallen with Sukrucuk, obviously she had plenty of time to think.

"I will tell you this once; from now on, if you don't do what I say for any reason, I will leave you!"

I couldn't bring myself to be harsh to the little one; although I spoke with a stern tone of voice, I was aware that the reason for this forgiveness was my soft heart.

"Rimel my child, this friend is a good person; he always told me what to do too!"

Before I could say stop brother, our head-basher suddenly blurted out the name the system gave her to the girl; since he didn't know the story lying behind it, it wasn't possible for him to foresee the results either.

"Who is Rimel? Is that my name?"

She had just finished saying it when the poor girl burst into tears again; I swear, she had shed more tears today than a main character vomiting a mouthful of blood every minute in Chinese novels.

Time was ticking; if she couldn't kill a Fallen as soon as possible, we would only be able to see her again eight hours later.

"Cut the crying, pull yourself together immediately and go out and kill a monster!"

This business was starting to annoy me; after fixing my eyes on her, I scolded Rimel with a tone of voice containing a bit of anger and a bit of threat.

The girl would go silent in an instant; unexpectedly, she had remained faithful to the promise she gave a moment ago. While walking towards the outside of the shield with tiny steps, she was looking at me with eyes asking for help.

"Calm down, you will only attack the Fallen I show you!"

While speaking, I was also looking for the most suitable mob; thank God, I saw the little girl wandering with a liquid lipstick in her hand in a short time.

"Now dash immediately, hit that little one wandering with lipstick in her hand once or twice!"

The command was very simple; she would go and slap the girl's head twice and kill her, but after what I would witness a moment later, my hopes for the future showed signs of breaking.

After Rimel went out of the shield, she approached her prey faster than I expected; this situation created some excitement in me. While saying she will probably handle it easily and come back, I had to see our girl hitting almost as if caressing the little child's hair.

"Girl, hit that thing properly!"

I couldn't stand it and shouted; how could I know this would backfire? When Rimel got thoroughly excited, didn't the girl opposite retaliate without caring about her small size?

"Hit that thing once, otherwise I will change my path wherever I see you again!"

I was turning into an irresponsible parent disciplining his small child with threats because of Rimel; if it went like this, we could proceed step by step to organize a gold day between parties.

"I'm sorry dear!"

"Slap!"

Albeit with difficulty, I had managed to make her slap the little one wandering by smelling the lipstick in her hand; the poor thing had already turned into a junkie saying she would shoot a video.

"Pick up the things on the ground, come here running!"

I was shouting to give the next command to Miss Rimel, whom I saw looking blankly.

This time a few copper coins had dropped along with a book, but there was another object shining with a pale silvery glow next to them.

"Brother Max, I succeeded, look I do everything you say now!"

The girl running towards me without slowing down after entering inside the shield was talking joyfully before disappearing for her statistics to be unlocked.

Apparently, I had taken on a big job; the real skill was doing what you needed to do without me having to tell you. Still, it was quite easy for her to make her first kill compared to Sukrucuk, moreover, she had both a book and another object that neither of us had in her hand.

Just as I was saying I seem to be reliving the events that happened with Sukrucuk next to me before, the voice I expected echoed in my mind.

"Goodness points received +5!"

The big notebook opened again, the achievement was written with black letters on the powder blue section; I was enjoying this before being startled by my middle-aged partner clinging to my arm.

"Max, something is happening, a huge notebook appeared suddenly!"

Sukrucuk was going to continue in fear, but I grabbed the hand he was pulling me with and quickly interrupted.

"Brother calm down, I will explain what happened. We will wait for half an hour; I better explain the logic of online games to you in general!"

My intention was to kill two birds with one stone while waiting for Rimel; I explained the basic rules to Sukrucuk one by one as if telling a child.

This time the elapsed time seemed longer; I had started to suspect a mishap when our young lady appeared where she disappeared.

"It took long for you to come back, nothing happened to you, right?"

While looking at the girl's pure and sincere smile, I said let me pretend to be concerned even if it's fake.

"No Brother Max, when I saw the formless light, I started crying out of fear; thank God they waited for me until I stopped. I am very sorry if I was late!"

Come and get angry at this now; I didn't dwell on it much but asked her to tell me her personal information which I was curious about.

"Good, thanks to this we understood that everyone making their first kill starts on equal terms."

Me, Sukrucuk, and Rimel had the same values; it could be said that these were the basic statistics without needing further proof.

"Don't wait too long, open the book in your hand and read it; it shouldn't be hard for a nerd student like you!"

No answer came to my words, but from her lower lip hanging down, it was obvious that the girl didn't like this nickname at all. This time I didn't look at the name of the skill book; after all, I knew something interesting would come out.
