"What a turn of events. It seems like we had the wrong impression of Gideon. And it turns out that he is a lot nicer than we initially thought." Lark said with a marvelled expression.
They certainly hadn't expected Gideon's actions to be a catalyst to let Benjamin receive some sort of enlightenment.
"That kid! Why didn't he just finish the battle in one go?!" Obsidian said clearly irritated by Gideon's actions.
The Matriarch also frowned in dissatisfaction. It was a fact that Gideon could have ended this fight at any point in time, but he straight up decided to give his opponent a power up.
"I think he knew exactly what he was doing. And he probably is confident enough in dealing with it. Besides, he's the type of person who would refuse to chabge his ideals. Even if you beat the hell out of him he would have done the same thing. So no point in getting mad, what's done is done." The Patriarch said calmly while resting his head on his knuckles, looking both amused and interested.
