Upon passing the the portal, Gideon felt his body become light, weightless to be exact. And similar to when they passed through a portal to get to Kepler, he felt like he was passing through a thin membrane.
By the time he came back to his senses, he found himself in the middle of a grassy plain.
He oriented himself quickly and immediately turned invisible. He then looked around and saw that there was no one near him, his companions included.
He wasn't overly surprised though, it was widespread knowledge that upon entering a secret realm, even if someone was right ght next to you when you entered, the two of you would most likely be put in separate areas.
'I need to meet up with them as soon as possible.' Gideon thought and closed his eyes.
Prior to entering the portal, Gideon had put in small amounts of unactivated poison into each of their bodies. That way he could track them since he could track wherever his poison was, so long it was within range.
