Yet, those myths had been utterly shattered in this shocking moment of vulnerability.
"H... How... can such a mortal exist in this desolate... unforgiving... wasteland?"
The words escaped the monstrous creature known as Pikalos.
He resembled a lion, his massive frame draped in a cloak of inky black fur.
This was a being forged from the very essence of ferocity, known across realms for its relentless pursuit of strength and an unyielding spirit that had never known defeat.
Yet, now, Pikalos lay splayed on the ground, his once-majestic form marred and broken, missing limbs that had once struck fear into the hearts of all who dared to challenge him.
