It's been eight long years.
Clementine woke up and headed to the bathroom.
Clementine (muttering): Sometimes I forget how big this room is.
She sighed.
Clementine: When AJ turned ten, Lee gave him his own room. Ever since then, I've been sleeping alone.
But we're safe now. We can eat as much as we want, and we don't have to worry about walkers anymore.
An hour later, Clementine finished freshening up and headed to Lee's office.
Dale stood outside as usual.
Dale: Good morning, Clementine.
Clementine: Morning. Is he inside?
Dale: Yes, but he's currently in a meeting.
Clementine: Okay. I'll just wait out here, then.
Dale: You can go in and listen.
Clementine: Are you sure?
Dale: Very sure.
Dale opened the door and let her in.
As Clementine walked into the room, Lee sensed her presence. He turned around and motioned for her to sit.
Alice: Did you sleep well?
Clementine: Yes, thanks for asking.
Klaus: Anyways—
Ari (cutting in): We have bad news. We're running low on supplies and fuel. The other survival camps are struggling too—there's barely anything left to trade.
We've been watching how they operate. I think it's time they joined us.
Klaus: But if we're already running low, adding them means we'll have over 500 mouths to feed.
Alice turned to Lee.
Lee sighed.
Lee: I think it's time we expand our reach.
Klaus: You mean... like another mile?
Lee turned to Alice again.
Alice: No. More like... another country.
