Under normal circumstances, a Noble Family is not allowed to privately establish a regular corps.
But according to Daqian Law, once a National War breaks out, or other severe situations arise that endanger Daqian, Noble Families may organize Civilian Soldiers to defend the nation and the Human Race.
Right now the National War hasn't actually started, but the banner is already up.
So the Wang Family simply applied for a "Changning Wang's Civilian Corps" designation and establishment, forming a regular militia unit with a full strength of five thousand two hundred people. A portion of the tax revenue from Longzuo County and the Changning Guard will be allocated as funding, at the level of half the military pay of an Ordinary Corps.
