'That's unusual i sense a yokai presence enveloping this river' then a slimy greenish webbed fingers grabbed my foot, a shiver of discomfort racked my body. With no hesitation i grab the searing sword and lift my legs in the air and my instincts is right it is a kappa dangling on my ankles with an erect penis, frightened and aroused expression

fake crying till i resume to wash my clothes without any disturbance and I also proceeded to wash my hair and body.

i immediately got dressed and placed the searing sword to the scabbard on my hips, i can't help but notice that lack of snacks and the guilty avoidant look of Satsuki.
"hmm somebody have magically eaten all of the snacks that should've last for 2 months. Soo mysterious, I wonder who is the glutton who have eaten it all" as i pointedly stared at the flight or fight stance of Satsuki
"Don't be dramatic i know it's you who have eaten it all, yes it's you ah ah don't you dare to use that attack it doesn't work on me!" As i grab the chubby *pig* Cat then proceeded my punishment of fluffling her fur and squish her cheeks even she didn't like it no more.
" You know you expected this punishment don't try to feign an offended look like i sold all of your kitten to the breeder!" i accused this demon incarnate
*purrr*mrrruhrr* She heavily purred, i know she is annoyed but i think she loves this. Such a brat!
Stopping my aggressive patting to take care of the preys gutted and cleaned in the fartest part of the river and create a fire to roast the meat, lathered with the dry herbs i collected in my travels to remove the gamey taste of the meat.

After 2 hours of grilling the meat is fully cooked, thankfully i hammered the meat before roasting so the herbs goes really deep and have a flavor. I think i should call that cat because who knows where did she sleep and i have no energy to find which tree she claimed.

I become alarmed as there is one outcome that entity is not satsuki!
Gripping my sword while waiting for them to appear, i heard the sound of bushes rustling to my left.
