With a sense of urgency, tears welled up in her eyes as she frantically rummaged through the medicine cabinet, her hands shaking as she searched for the right bottle. As she finally found the correct one, she carefully examined the prescription label, her heart racing with anxiety. With a deep breath, she twisted the cap off the bottle, hoping to find the solution to her troubles.

As she swallows multiple pills, her body reacts badly to the essive amount of medication. She dropped down to her knees in complete suffering and her vomit was yellow as she threw up on the bathroom floor. The pain was so intense that she could not stay conscious as she held her stomach in agony.

" Hey, are you in there!"

A man of considerable height and presence, who appeared to be in his late fifties, arrived at the door in a state of urgency and requested immediate access to the restroom. Despite the door being locked, he applied a usual amount of force to gain entry to the facility, which left him feeling somewhat uneasy.

His eyes widened in shock at the teenage girl lying on the bathroom floor. He checked for her pulse and became worried when she was unresponsive. He dreads as he sees the open bottle of prescription and pills on the floor. With his hands shaking, he called the emergency number.

"What's the address of the emergency?" the operator inquired.

"Help! I just got him and noticed the bathroom door was locked which is not normal. I broke the door and there bottle of pills are half-empty and all over the floor — I don't think my daughter is breathing! I cannot feel a pulse. "The sound of a man's voice could be heard, and it was evident that he was in a state of distress, his tone harried and agitated.

" What is your name?" the operator inquired.

" A-amani T-tadashi" he stuttered.

" Ok. Mr. Tadashi when did this happen?"z

"Sometime in the last 30 minutes, I think? I don't know." The gentleman appeared to be in a state of distress and bewilderment as he engaged in a telephone conversation.

" What are the nearest cross streets?" the operator requested further information.

" Davison and Dale.— Ohhhh, please tell me she's not dead."

"OK, Mr. Tadashi. We'll send an ambulance right away."

As the emergency vehicles approached, their piercing sirens echoed throughout the street, prompting drivers to quickly move aside to make way for the ambulance rushing to the hospital at high speed.

The anxious parents hurriedly made their way into the hospital, the mother's eyes brimming with tears of worry. The compassionate clerk warmly greeted them and courteously directed them to the waiting lounge, offering them the requisite paperwork to fill out as they waited for the doctor. Time seemed to drag on interminably, until finally, the doctor, clad in his immaculate white lab coat and donning blue medical gloves, arrived and led them to their beloved patient's room.

There was a window where the patient seemed to be sleeping peacefully, with tubes connected to the machine from her body.

" What happened to my baby?" As she collapsed onto her knees, the woman was overcome with emotion and tears began to flow down her cheeks.

" A gastric suction procedures was performed, it begin by numbing the patient's throat to decrease irritation and gagging. Then, inserted a lubricated tube into the patient's mouth and thread it through their esophagus and into their stomach. The medical professionals spray saline down the tube. Finally, they will apply suction through the tube to remove toxic contents from the stomach." The doctor provided an extensive and meticulous explanation, covering every detail in their endeavor to convey the required knowledge.

The abrupt intensity of the light prompted her eyelids to spasm involuntarily, and for a brief moment, she was rendered sightless. Gradually, the individual opened her eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks, a blend of unease and contentment etched upon her countenance. As she slightly shook her head in agony.

The calendar rested peacefully atop the counter, the pages had turned and two months had gone by in what felt like a blink of an eye.

Due to medical reasons, she was advised to only consume liquids as part of her dietary intake. Seated comfortably in the wheelchair, she took in the breathtaking view of the surrounding scenery outside.

With a barely audible hum, the door glided open at a leisurely pace, revealing another doctor in a white coat.

" Hello, Mika. I am here for your psychiatric evaluation, perhaps you can help me understand of why you took that substance."

" I mistook them for vitamins." The sound that emanated from her throat was gravelly and strained, betraying the discomfort and pain she was experiencing. Her reply was marked by the same roughness, a clear indication of the toll that whatever was afflicting her had taken on her voice.

With a sense of unease overwhelming her, she grasped her hands together, feeling the quivers running through her fingers. She kept her lips tightly shut, unwilling to let even a hint of the emotional chaos that was brewing behind the closed doors of her home escape into the outside world.

" You will stay the night at the hospital for observation." The doctor then picked up their belongings and left the room, as they finished with the visit.
