Black holes.
Black holes?
The illusion of the Giant of Starlight had already vanished. Wu Wang had returned to his own perspective, standing there gazing into the boundless void, unable to regain his composure for a long time.
This? Is the Great Wilderness within a black hole?
Wu Wang stood there in a daze, memories surfacing in his mind.
How did I come to the Great Wilderness? By piloting the spaceship that plunged into the wormhole near Earth.
Wu Wang was a spaceship pilot in his previous life and, of course, understood that wormholes and black holes were two completely different concepts. Wormholes refer to high-dimensional passages between two distant space-times, much like folding a piece of paper, punching a hole through it, and then unfolding the paper to reveal two corresponding small holes—similar to wormholes in a two-dimensional world. Wormholes can be called 'space-time tunnels'; they are merely passageways.
