THE ANT SUMMONER
Putie wasn't competing in this competition based on the strength of her artifact. All her artifact does was open a magic portal to a place that contained giant ants.
She released the ants toward me in a rampaging horde.
"Ring of Random: Icicles"
My ring cast some icicles at the ants that killed some of them but those I killed were only fractions of the ants that were coming for me and there were even more ants coming out from the magic portal of Putie.
"Referees, she's cheating", I shouted to the referees.
"No, she's not, its permitted under the rules of this challenge. She's a charmer not a summoner", the referee replied to me.
Suddenly, it became evident to me as Putie shook the bells on her bangles.
The ants responded to the sounds on her bangles and were commanded to attack me. Putie's main magic wasn't her staff which merely opened a magic portal to an ant hill. It was her command of the ants that allowed her to compete with me.
