"For the love of god… It's an invisibility spell. The one in the black book was half untranslated, I thought I wouldn't ever be able to decipher it. It means that my luck is very good." Liam looked at the bottom of the note it read, "Regards, Your caretaker…."
Liam wondered, "Caretaker???… Mr. burton just delivered this to me, he isn't the 'Caretaker'. I don't know anyone else who would give such a spell to me. And how is that person my caretaker if I haven't even met him."
"Michael did say that it was very strange that Mr. Burton came to Hogwarts today."
He changed his clothes into his pajamas and sat on the bed holding that note in his hands. Reading the words 'Your Caretaker' again and again. Till he slept.

The next day in the library,
Liam was sitting in the library reading from his book. After thinking about who the 'Caretaker' might be, he didn't reach a single conclusion. He had no idea who the caretaker might be. But he desperately wanted to know who that secret caretaker is.
Michael entered the library and sighed just as he saw Liam, "Why are you always in the library, sometimes I wonder how you are a Slytherin. You should have been a Ravenclaw." he teased Liam.
"Yeah I also wonder the same thing, tell me would Edward change houses with me he seems to be more of a Slytherin than me." He laughed.
Michael laughed, "That would be very nice, but I don't think that Edward would agree. He has more of an influence in the Ravenclaw which he would never be able to make in the in the Slytherin house. Also his parents aren't of the noble wizard lineage."
Liam's expression changed just as Michael said the last sentence. He frowned looking at the book in his hand in daze.
"What happened?? Tell me. You know that you tell me anything." Michael consoled Liam.
"Yesterday, Mr. Burton gave me a gift of some sorts." Liam got a bit close to Michael, "An invisibility spell." He whispered.
"AN INVis…" Liam quickly covered Michael's mouth with his hands.
"Be quite I don't want anyone else hearing about this…"
"But it's a huge deal. Any wizard doesn't just give an unpublicized spell to someone else. And on top of that it's such a spell which many dark wizards fancy. If the word gets out that you have such a spell you will surely be targeted. And if someone from the ministry hears about it, you can be labeled as a dark wizard yourself and sent to Azkaban."
Liam knew everything what Michael said, "I know that's why I am keeping it a secret. And not shouting it."
"Oh… Sorry about that. But what does that have to do with you being sad, shouldn't you be happy. Having such a spell can be life saver, if you keep it a secret."
"I am not sad about that, actually the note which contained the spell had a sender's regards which said 'Your Caretaker' but as you already know I am an orphan and didn't know any wizards prior to Hogwarts."
Michael was also shocked to hear that, "It was sent by someone who knows you? And Mr. Burton knows who that person is."
Liam nodded.
"At least you have a clue now, before we were searching blindly. But now we have a lead."
Liam smiled, "You are right. But still this clue isn't enough."

Unknown Mountain Range.
A large manor was built such that it was part of the mountain, which was very deeply hidden in those mountain ranges. It looked very old but was maintained very well. The manor had a very large viewing room through which you could see the other mountains and the valley between. And the interior was truly luxurious.
The room was well furnished from the inside and had very expensive items as well as many old antiques. The room also had a very big book shelf which had many old books with weird scripts and symbols.
Just by the side of the big glass, was a small table and chair on which a old man was sitting. He had silvery hair with a few brown hair strands and a very fair skin, one of his eye was also silvery white in color.
The man was reading a newspaper, and drinking tea with some toasts.
The door opened and a middle aged fair lady entered with an exciting expression.
"Soo you met him…" The old man said in an emotionless tone.
The lady's expression changed, she became angry, "Yes, I met him… why don't you look happy, he is your grandson. You should be happy that he is doing well. You should be asking me how is he? Is he doing well?… yet you look so unmoved by the fact that I met him."
"I know he is doing well and fine I don't need to ask you to know that. We are the ones making sure that he is well." The old man replied with his cold tone, "I am too busy trying to find out what our enemy is going to do… rather than going on a field trip to watch quidditch."
The old man looked at his sulking daughter, "You wanted to meet him and you met him. I have let you take a lot of risk. I don't want to take more risk. We can't let anyone know of his identity, he is also included in that. If our enemies got even a single clue, the world will fall into chaos."
He looked at her daughter and said with a serious tone, "We must protect him until the right time."
The fair middle aged lady replied, "I know, I have already lost my brother. I don't want to lose my nephew." She had a very sad expression.
"Don't be too sad, when the times comes we will have him come back to us. When the right time he will know all the truth and the burden he bears."
"About that, I want tell you something important. Liam... he may have met the Spirit of the lake."
