Josh was looking at the new skill that had aquired through God's Blessing, and he wanted to test it out, but the dangerous monsters roaming outside didn't let him venture out much outside.
But Josh improvised by using the hallway instead of going the outside. When Josh opened the door he saw dead bodies everywhere, the chaos most likely happen during his time in the capsule.
After reaching the end of the hallway Josh use the skill "Speed Boost" and instantly felt a strange power surge in his legs and hips. He then started to run at his max speed which was at a peak human level. He never felt so energetic, he skipped and hopped around. Trying to test the limits of his new skill.
But suddenly he has alerted many monsters that were killing the humans on his floor, which were hidden in the many rooms. Luckily he saw them and noticed that they were zombies, which compared to the other monsters were easier to handle. He was not worried about more zombie appearing since he was not near the ground floor and he had made lots of noise beforehand. Most likely attracting every zombie already.
So Josh quickly went to his room and was setting up a trap to kill them. After a while of waiting, the zombies appeared and set off the trap he made, which was a tight string connected to a springlocked spiked door which would shut and impaled the zombies upon pressure. Now that he captured them, they were easier to kill, which he did and gain the experience for it. After killing them, a panel showed up.

When Josh saw all the experience he gained and the rush of energy again, he decided to look at his stats once again to see the numbers go up.

After seeing this, Josh was satisfied and noticed his attitude points. As a gamer himself, he felt pride in his stats going up and felt a joy in that.
Josh then decided to spend them evenly.
So he put 10 in intelligence and 10 in endurance and 10 in Strength. He didn't spend any in Mana since he thought it was sufficient for now and he couldn't even add any to luck.
After spending the attributes he felt so much lighter, and stronger. He felt like killing the 3 zombies from before could've been done without his trap and just used pure strength and speed to overwhelm them.

Josh then closed the system panel and dispose of the zombies in a random room to get rid of the nasty smell emitting from them. Josh then went back in his room to think about what should he do next.
Josh then comes up with the best most wonderful idea of clearing the whole apartment to make a safe spot for himself and to gain more attributes since the monsters outside look more tough and stronger. Josh then went and geared up with random stuff he had like a cardboard box and tape with his kitchen knife and went to clear his apartment floor. He had confidence in doing so after leveling up again but still decided to be cautious since one can never know.
