Happy POV
I was still so weak that I just collapsed to the floor and remained like that.
I should probably go to the hospital?
No way that will cost too much for me and it will be too much if Fred takes me there and pays the bills with nothing in return.
Suddenly I heard the sound of a notification entering a phone and I realized that I had misplaced mine.
"Where did I keep it now?" I asked myself as I tried to remember.
I remember putting it inside my purse this morning and I took that purse to work.
So it was definitely with me when I came inside Fred's room.
I quickly scanned the room to see if I'll see it anywhere around and found it on the floor under the bed.
Damnit. If not for that notification I would have forgotten all about it and lost it.
I carried myself there and opened it and found my phone inside.
It was still awake since a notification just entered and I took it to check.
I got a new message.
