The decree that the god of fate made took effect immediately. Golden words rose from the Book of Fate and flew to catch up to the god of travelers.
The god of travelers had activated foresight, so he knew what would happen if the golden word met him. He knew that he would be forced to tell the god of fate what had happened in this timeline, and he also knew that he could avoid the golden words if he wanted.
But even though he didn't like that the god of fate was taking advantage of him, he still let the golden words meet him and bind him. This was because the decree would also help him, and because he knew without a doubt that he would need that help soon.
The source of unease first appeared in his vision of the future through the Foresight divine ability. But even though he could see it, the enemy was too powerful to avoid.
