Levyndrion's Pov :
I saw her staring at me while my own eyes stared right back at hers, her smile died down and her cheeks reddened making me truly fascinated, suddenly her eyes widened probably recalling what happened this morning, a sudden heat surfaced my whole body as I remembered how soft her skin was, her sweet lips ..... Fudge! What are you thinking Levy? I cursed myself.
She rashly turned her back on me, her hairs flowing on the air before settling back till down to her small waist. Its strange but for some reason I felt dissapointed for that. Why would she do that? Is she shy of facing me now or then ..... huh! was my kiss that awful? I felt challenged out of blue assuming that she might not have liked my kiss, that it disgusted her so much to the point that she can't face me. Well its not like she sees you in that light .... you made it clear that she was a little sister to you and being the very same brother you went too far and kissed her! Fudge! i turned and walked away as I fan my face.
I must be going crazy for not being able to feel the pleasure given by lady Acine that's why, my body was heating up and I am urging for release, I can't go on for the day like this and its already been a day and half. The worst part is that Maria asked me to decide days of paying visits for the both of them, since I can't live without Acine and now I'm caught up with my duties towards Audrey, left with no choice.
Today would be the last night to spend with Audrey and then tomorrow I'll begin to visit Acine two days as well, only God knows if i can hold back from this urge but then i have to be equal with my decisions as a King and now I'm even equally divided for the two of them! I also can't ruin her reputation as my Queen. Spending two days with one and the next two with another ... What a joke!? I've never heard of such rules before if not for that old woman Maria, I can devide everything but one thing ..... I can't devide my heart, it only belongs to one.
I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't even notice where my legs took me, I came to Acine's quarters, I sighed and strode to her room, I couldn't wait to see her.
But what I saw once I entered the room was too shocking, she ruined everything inside the room ... everything! She does this whenever she is angry and I'd usually let it go, this time too I can tell why but she was nowhere to be seen. Where could she be at?.
I frowned, i couldn't help but suspect her sneaking behaviour these days, it is almost noon where could she be?
This isn't even a first time that I visit her only to find an empty room. what is she up to? Is she hiding something from me? I clenched my fists and walked away.
End of Pov ....
"Send someone to know her whereabouts" he ordered "Yes sire" replied Fene, he then made the whistle .... shortly a man in black appeared, he whispered something to him and the next moment the man vanished. 'I must know where she is going these past few days!' he smirked as they made their way to his study room.
Audrey who was trying her level best to hide the secret couldn't hold it any longer, her maids were finally able to tame her at the Greenhouse after the short encounter with the King. What she did then made then even more curious, who would dare to turn their back on the King? only their Queen so far... cause others would be laying unconscious on the bloody floor with heads apart from their bodies, she has to be an exception.
She after a minute of hesitation finally told them what happened, although it wasn't proper for them to know about it but the way Audrey lives with them created that sisterly bond between them, where they could share things like that freely.
They were all giving each other some wicked looks and unnecessary giggles which made her regret telling them a thing.
"Mhhhh .... so he didn't do anything to you? Is he blind to deny your highness?" asked Annie surprised to the core, Audrey was woman with her curves at the right places, beautiful and enticing even if she wares like commoners and back at home everybody would gawk at her for being exceptionally beautiful, so how could King Levyndrion resist her? Something that she knew no man would even dare to.
Audrey was somewhat relieved that he actually didn't do more what he did to her.
"I think I know why he didn't " said Celine catching thier attention. "I mean, its obviously because of that cold-hearted woman whom our King is doting on!" supported Chika rolling her eyes. Yeah right! it was obviously because of her presence, she kept wondering what she did in the past life to receive such affection in her present from Levyndrion, did she save a nation? thought Audrey. She sighed, her maids were even more pissed off than she was, they felt bad for her because the King didn't shower her with such love and give it all to Acine instead. Well, she wasn't that much upset cause she wasn't even prepared mentally nor physically last night to sleep with him, it was the best thing they didn't.
"No! this can't be happening?" blurted Annie pacing back and forth in their Queen's room, they all stared at her not able to understand what she was truly cooking inside her hot head, its not like she can do anything.
"We have to do something my Queen!" she said " But what?" Audrey, Celine and Chika said in sync, she must be crazy to think she could change anything about what was going on for years, thought the two maids, absolutely crazy!.
"My Queen...." she paused holding both of Audrey's hands looking at her seriously, making her feel a bit awkward 'What is she up to now?' thought Audrey. "You will have to pursue him! make him love you my Queen!" she said with pleading eyes knowing better that Audrey would never do that.
Audrey creased and pulled her head back a bit to take a good look at Annie, 'Is she drunk or did something hit her head?' she just couldn't believe her words, something like that is what she have never heard before, a man is supposed to pursue a woman and not the other way around so how could she talk nonsense! "No way! pursue? HIM? Eh! no I can't!" she walked up to the window, the sky was dark already, no wonder Annie must be tired and sleepy to be spouting nonsensical things.
Celine and Chika stayed quiet for a while registering Annie's words into their heads, "I think you should do so my Queen" supported Chika "Yes let's make the King fall in love with you if he can't do it willingly" added Celine with a serious tone, Audrey chuckled finding all of them to be out of their minds "That is called forcing my dears, I would never consider such thing" she denied not turning to face any of them, their words were some sort of irritating now, even though she isn't loved that doesn't mean she should force to be.
"But my Queen ....." before Annie could finish her sentence... she was cut off by Audrey, she raised her hand for them to stop talking, she didn't like where this conversation was going, 'Pursue? Who? ME!!!? Not even in my wildest dreams!' she said to herself.
"You all can go for the day" she murmured the order, being servants they couldn't deny her orders, they bowed slightly to her back since she still haven't turned "Yes your highness" they said in chorus and walked out with their sullen faces.
Audrey suddenly felt so sad, she felt like her organs were being squeezed, she pursed her lips as tears rolled down her cheeks, her hairs slowly turning white, the feeling was so painful. She went to her bedside drawer and took out her silver flute, seating by the window as usual looking outside and up at the dark sky with only few stars. She raised the flute towards her delicate lips and started to play it, the melody was too calming that she even closed her eyes getting lost in the sound of it.
Levyndrion on the other hand heard the beautiful melody, this would the second time, the first time he heard it .... it felt so cooling and healing that he had to close his eyes as well getting drawn to it.
He tried to follow the sound that day but he couldn't reach it.
This time too! he got up from his seat and and let out a deep breath and strode out of the study room, following the sound today he was determined to catch it before it ends, he was finally out of his quarters, the wind blew to his face with it, the melody was so good and it felt as if it was calling for him.He followed it with his hands in his pockets, however... he was surprised that voice was coming from Audrey's quarters, wasting no time he increased his pace since the melody was at the ending part just like the other time. "No!" he uttered under his gritted teeth, he teleported and found himself inside Audrey's room she was sitting by the window, looking outside, her hairs! they were white now and dancing with the winds. 'So it was her' it was such a beautiful melody for the night. He stood on his track staring at her back figure, her body glowing under the moonlight, 'such beautiful scenery' he uttered in silence as she kept playing the flute.
