Sitting in his classroom, Luminous was looking out the window, lost in thought, when his phone started to ring.
Okina: Mr. Luminous, is there a reason why you are interrupting the lesson?
Luminous looked at his phone and saw that it was a call from the Hero Association.
Getting up from his desk, he said, "I'm sorry. It's a call from the Hero Association."
Walking out of the classroom, he stood outside the door and took the call.
Luminous: "Hello? This is S-Class Hero Sorcerer speaking."
Hero Association: "Sorcerer, sorry to bother you. But there's a meteor heading towards Earth, and we weren't able to contact Terrible Tornado. We were wondering if you could stop it. Considering you possess psychic powers as well, the destruction from this could affect countless cities."
Luminous: "I'll go deal with it right now."
Saying that, Luminous hung up.
The agent on the other side of the phone was left speechless. He sounded so casual yet confident.
Stepping back into the classroom, Luminous turned towards Okina.
"A meteor is coming towards Earth. I have to go stop it. But to show you guys something interesting, have the school meet outside in the courtyard. I'll pull it out from space so you guys can have a look," he said, smiling.
Okina: "You're going to pull a meteor from space?"
She couldn't help but ask curiously.
The whole class looked towards Luminous in shock. They didn't want to doubt him. But still, a meteor? And he's going to bring it over so they can have a look?
Impossible!
Seeing the look on everyone's face, Luminous couldn't help but say, "What? You guys still doubt my strength?"
Everyone thought back to when he split the sky and ocean open in a single movement. They all couldn't help but shake their heads.
No.
"Haha, let's head outside," saying that, Luminous left the classroom with the whole class following behind.
A couple of minutes later, the courtyard was packed full of students. When they learned what was about to happen, they couldn't help but look at Luminous with excitement.
Looking up into the sky, Luminous casually lifted his hand. He had already sensed the meteor.
With a pull, the meteor started heading towards Earth with intense speed.
"You're a bit big, so shrink."
Saying that, he closed his hand slightly.
Before long, the meteor was hovering above the whole school while the students all stared in shock. Some even started recording to post online.
Turning around, Luminous made eye contact with Rino.
Luminous: "Rino, as my student, I admire your desire for strength. I'll make you a gift. Watch this."
Saying that, everyone watched as the meteor began to shrink further and further, transforming into the form of a sword.
Before long, the meteor was in the form of a sword hovering in front of Luminous. Everyone could feel intense heat coming from it. Yet Luminous grabbed it casually.
The blade was a long sword with a circle symbol at the hilt. Along the sides, the words "Meteor Sword" were written.
Luminous made this blade similar in design to the national treasure known as "Bongseon," wielded by Mira in The God of High School.
Raising his other hand, a black and white sheath was formed as he placed the sword inside of it.
Throwing it towards Rino, he said, "Take it as a gift from me. Work hard, my disciple."
Looking at the blade in her hand, Rino immediately bowed, clasping her hands.
"Thank you, Luminous Sensei."
She could tell this blade was far more powerful than any she currently possessed.
The school seeing this immediately felt jealous.
That was when both Kousuke and Tamao, the other two male students at the school aside from Luminous and Rintaro, raised their hands.
"Luminous Sensei, we want to be your students too!" they both shouted in unison.
Looking at them both, Luminous said, "You want to learn? Sure, I'll teach you. I'll teach you all."
Hearing that, the whole school started cheering!!!
