Chapter 37 - Chapter 37:The chamber of forbidden pages

Harold lifted the boy who had fallen down and asked gently, "Why are you running?" The boy replied in fear, "Death is coming… please leave me and don't stay here." Saying this, he escaped too. Soon, some warriors arrived and told Harold and his friends, "Stay here, we will protect you." They led the three of them safely into the fortress and then into a chamber.

The three friends did not understand what was happening. Even when they asked the warriors, no one explained anything. The warriors only guarded them and left. A few days later, the three began walking through the city streets. As they walked, they heard a faint melody. Following the sound, they saw the townspeople suddenly panic and run in the opposite direction. No one explained why, and the three were left confused.

That night, they slept uneasily. The next morning, everything seemed normal again, but still no one answered their questions. Ken then said, "Something strange is happening in this city. We don't have much time. Let's focus on finding the medical manuscript and the herbs we need." Lorentz agreed, saying, "Yes, first we must find what is necessary."

Lorentz had overheard some guards speaking: the fortress contained many secret chambers, though no one knew how many. He had secretly learned of one chamber that connected to underground caves. "Tonight, we will go there," he said. At midnight, the three slipped away toward the hidden passage. Guards were everywhere, making it difficult to pass. Unsure what to do, Ken threw a torch onto a large canopy nearby. As the guards rushed to put out the fire, the three slipped inside the secret chamber.

It was pitch dark. They lit a torch and walked deep inside until they reached a sealed door. They tried to open it but failed. Beneath it was a stone engraved with a symbol. Ken rotated the stone, forming a lightning-shaped key. As soon as he did, the door opened. Inside was another chamber with a large lock. A small pin had to be placed correctly to open it. Ken carefully inserted the pin, and the chamber opened easily.

Inside were many books, but written in an unknown language. They searched for something useful but found nothing. Lorentz then noticed a lamp. He tried to lift it, but it wouldn't move. When he twisted it, suddenly the entire room filled with bright light, like daylight. In that glow, one massive book stood out. It was clear this book held answers to many mysteries. They tried to open it, but it required a special key.

Lorentz said, "We've been here too long. The sun will rise soon. Let's leave now and search for the key later." They left the chamber and returned to their quarters. That night, Lorentz and Ken slept soundly, but Harold could not. The next morning, Harold remembered something: "That circular-shaped key… I saw it fall during Azar's fight. It must be at our house now."

He added, "But even if we get the key, we don't know this strange language. We don't have phones or internet here. So one of us must take the book back home, use the key to open it, and study it with our resources. Then we must return to this island. Also, to uncover the mystery happening in the northern part of this island, we need to gather some people. Bring them to Amaravati, carrying the tiger cub on their backs. Only then can we quickly reach the answers we seek."

Finally, Harold asked, "So… who among us will leave the island and bring back the key?
