Zhou Zhu Yao drive straight to a breakfast place to have their brunch. Everyone is a bit hungry so they are looking forward to eating the restaurant's signature Beef potstickers.
"So many people." Bai Yi Ling said as they passed by the restaurant. There is a delicious looking potstickers animation on their restaurant sign.
"That's mean they are a good place." Zhou Zhu Yao said and she drive slower to find a parking. They turn around the area 2 times before finding one parking.
They all head to the restaurant right away once they parked. Since there is a lot of people, they still need to wait for their number to be called. They are the only big group here so they guess they wouldn't have to wait long.
But, after a while, 2 small groups behind them has entered but their number is still not called. The children started to lose their cool and the two smallest one start to become restless.
"Just wait for another 5 minutes, if we are not called yet, then let's just find other place." Bai Yi Yang said to Zhou Zhu Yao and Bai Yi Chen and the two nod. They have waited for 15 minutes, if they wait for another 5 minutes, that will be 20 minutes in total. Bai Yi Yang coax the children to wait for a while more and the two reluctantly nod.
Bai Yi Yang was about to return the number when her name was called from behind. It's none other than Zhang Yong.
"Big brother Zhang!" The children call first. Zhang Yong is actually in a car, he just roll down the window to call Bai Yi Yang. He was just passing by, he didn't think that they will meet so soon.
Zhang Yong say something to his driver and he alighted from the backseat in a full business attire. He really look different than his usually casual look.
This scene would have been like a CEO drama if there is only Bai Yi Yang but Zhang Yong got an enthusiastic welcome from the two small children, they immediately clung to his legs.
"We miss you a lot." Bai Yi Fang said and Zhang Yong laugh happily. He pat their head enthusiastically
.
"I missed you all too." Zhang Yong said.
"Are you here to eat?" Zhang Yong ask Bai Yi Chen who have come to take the children hands.
"Yes. But we have waited nearly 30 minutes but our number is still not called. We are about to leave." Bai Yi Chen said. At the same time, Bai Yi Yang are back from returning the number.
"Why are you here? You didn't just saw us from your car and stop right?" Bai Yi Yang ask with a hint that she is joking, she laugh in the end.
"That's what happened. I am on the way back to my office. I just finished a breakfast meeting." Zhang Yong said and look at the young girl head to toe, her styling make her legs look longer. Why does he feel that she have grow a bit taller again?
"If you are busy, just go first. We haven't eaten breakfast yet so we will look for one now." Bai Yi Yang said. She have lost all patience on this restaurant.
"I am not busy. Why don't I bring you to a good place. Their signature dish is Soup Dumpling but their Beef potstickers is good too. I come to that place often, they have 2 floors so it shouldn't be too crowded." Zhang Yong said.
"Good ah. Do you want to follow us or call back your driver?" Bai Yi Yang ask again. She saw Zhang Yong car passed by just now, she guess that his driver must be waiting nearby.
"I will just follow you." Zhang Yong decide in a second and they all head back to the car. She is carrying Bai Yi Fang in his arm as they cross the street.
When Zhang Yong saw their rental car, he look at Bai Yi Yang a few more time. Didn't she say they rented a car for a few hundreds a day? Did she trick him? This is a very new model, what more its clearly have been a custom made order. But he didn't say anything and just join them in.
Since he took TongTong's place, TongTong has joined the children at the back seat.
Zhang Yong know the road quite well. Since the place is not far, they arrived in less than 10 minutes. It looks like an oriental but modern style restaurant. The situation is not noisy and chaotic as the other restaurant. The parking space is huge since this is an individual building.
"He is surely rich. He only know place like this." Zhou Zhu Yao whisper to Bai Yi Yang as Zhang Yong hold the children hand to walk at the most front. Not long after they parked, another car arrived, it was Zhang Yong's car.
"Mr.Zhang? Did you left something?" The smart woman at the counter saw Zhang Yong and ask. He just leave not long ago and now he is back again.
"It's not that Manager Su. I come to accompany people to eat. Do you have private room available? There are 7 of us." Zhang Yong said.
The woman called Manager Su nod and escort them personally. Manager Su know the Zhang family closely because they are a regular patron here, either for business or just simply having breakfast.
But, these group of people that Zhang Yong personally escorted, she don't recognise. Is this a distant relative from Zhang Yong's maternal side? They don't look like they come from a notable family but they are not dressed shabbily too.
But then, she saw Zhang Yong is especially attentive towards a young girl. She got a realisation that this should be his girlfriend or someone he is pursuing. But, don't she look too young? Well, that's not her business at all so she better not judge people.
"Not bad right?" Zhang Yong ask Bai Yi Yang. Now, they are the last one walking at the back.
"Not bad. I am sure that their food should be exceptional too." Bai Yi Yang nod.
"I like eating here. My family is the same. This place has big parking space and the surrounding is not noisy." Zhang Yong add and Bai Yi Yang nod.
"I think you are a bit taller again." Zhang Yong suddenly said and Bai Yi Yang glare at him.
"You want to start a war is it?" Bai Yi Yang said and Zhang Yong laugh heartily.
"I am telling the truth." Zhang Yong said with some residual laugh and Bai Yi Yang just glare at him and walk a bit faster.
They went to the second floor to the private room and there are much less people on the second floor.
"Please." Manager Su open the door and invite them in. There is a round table with 8 seats and they all respectively took a seat. Manager Su gave out the menu and let them take their time to order.
"Do you want me to recommend some?" Zhang Yong ask Bai Yi Yang. They are sitting together.
"Sure. That will save the trouble." Bai Yi Yang smile. Zhang Yong point out the restaurant signature dishes and Bai Yi Yang know what to order now.
She ordered Soup dumplings the most, then Pork and Beef potstickers, simple wonton soup and a few more types of dim sums. Something that Zhang Yong recommended and what they rarely eat. Then, everyone ordered soy milk as drinks.
"All the food here look delicious." Bai Yi Fang said as she look at the menu. Manager Su have left with their orders but Bai Yi Fang is still looking at the pictures of the food. This restaurant are serving breakfast menu until 11.30 am and the rest of the time, they sell other dishes.
"Other food is delicious too. Next time, you can come here to eat lunch or dinner." Zhang Yong smile.
Then, they started talking about food tell them about his vast experience because of business meetings so he know which place is overrated or underrated. Bai Yi Yang listen carefully too so that she will know where to bring her siblings later.
Their food start arriving after waiting for 10 minutes or so and they can finally start eating. Zhang Yong is actually still full so he only eat a bowl of wonton soup as they chat.
The food is actually quite good, Bai Yi Yang also give it a high rating. Well, with the price of the food, there is no way that they are not delicious.
Everyone is quite hungry so they all eat in gusto, occasionally exchanging words but most of the time they are eating.
"I can't eat anymore." Bai Yi Mo ate quite fast, so he is the first one who put down his spoon and chopsticks. After that, one by one of them stop eating.
Zhang Yong know that Bai Yi Yang is a big eater despite being small so he help put food to her bowl because he is idle. But still, it was Bai Yi Chen who finished last, he look very full too.
"Good thing I didn't order too much." Bai Yi Yang said proudly but the plates and bowls actually formed a small hill, it was actually quite a huge amount. Bai Yi Yang think that this is a normal level for her siblings, they usually eat a lot.
"En. Their food is good." Bai Yi Chen also comment.
"10 out of 10!" Bai Yi Yang gesture and grin.
"If this restaurant is 10 out of 10, how about your jiejie cooking?" Zhou Zhu Yao tease the little girl.
"My jiejie cooking is 100 out of 10." Bai Yi Fang easily answer.
"Sweet talker." Zhou Zhu Yao said and laugh. They all rested for about 10 minutes before Zhang Yong ring the bell for the bill.
As expected, the food price is no means cheap, the bill come out at 675 yuan. But, it wasn't that expensive either they are still reasonable price.
Zhang Yong was about to take out his card when Bai Yi Yang gave Bai Yi Chen's card to the waiter first.
"I wanted to pay because I brought you all here." Zhang Yong said to Bai Yi Yang.
"Next time, I will wait for your treat oh." Bai Yi Yang smile and Zhang Yong nod.
"You always say that but you never let me pay." Zhang Yong add.
"Me and my siblings eat a lot, when that time come, we may dried up your wallet." Bai Yi Yang laugh.
"If it's dried up then let it be." Zhang Yong still feel regretful that Bai Yi Yang is too independent. She said that he is like a big brother but she treated him like a brother towards brother. He is also helpless.
Zhou Zhu Yao saw this and feel relieved. Men flocks around Bai Yi Yang , she was worried that she will learn some bad influence and will depend on men for everything. This Zhang Yong is a great example of rich man who is interested with a beauty. If Bai Yi Yang wanted it, she is sure that Zhang Yong will pamper her with his money. She was worried about this too when she first meet Zhang Yong. But, seems like she thought too much, Bai Yi Yang is less worrisome than her. She may be tempted to this kind of thing but Bai Yi Yang clearly will not.
After the bill is paid, they walk out of the restaurant full. Zhang Yong wanted to join them shopping when he heard that they will be going shopping after this. So, he ran to his car and inform his driver to eat and directly return home. He took off his formal vest and necklace in front of everyone in the parking space before putting on his blazer again. Now, he looks much more casual and less sharp.
The driver was dumbfounded as he watch his boss transformed in a second.
"This is the company card, use it to have lunch before returning home with taxi. I will drive on my own." Zhang Yong said.
"What?" The driver was dumbfounded as he took the card. Just now, they are actually returning home to the office after a business meeting. Then, he was supposed to wait for Zhang Yong to leave work and send him back home. Later, he is also going to The Eve at night and he was supposed to work until late today. Who knows that he will finish work so early.
"I said you are dismissed from work today, I will drive on my own. I will see you tomorrow." Zhang Yong said again and the driver beam happily. He get off the car and took his wallet with him.
Zhang Yong give a signal to the Bai siblings rented car and he enter the driver seat. Once the other car drive away, Zhang Yong also follow from behind.
The driver watch as Zhang Yong leave with the car and whistle happily as he went to the restaurant to eat. What an unexpected turn of events. But, who is the group of people that Zhang Yong followed willingly? They look like a group of young people and children.
Anyway, he don't want to know too, he is just happy to return home early.
