Chapter 141 - 134

(A/N: Hi guys! I'm not updating. These chapters were left in notes, so I thought of posting them. I'll post the remaining chapters and drop this. Thanks for reading this.)

"Of course, come here."

She had blue eyes and blond black hair and had the figure of a mature woman.

Her age was unknown.

(A/N: You can think of both versions. Comics and Movies. Vote here.)

She was seen wearing a golden armour, belt with attached apron, gauntlets, and tiara.

Looking at her 13 year old daughter's curious eyes, she felt sad for a while.

Looking back, it's been 2 years since she and Amazons were summoned by her/their master.

Narrowly, they escaped their doom.

Perhaps, her choice was wrong.

Antiope was right.

Believing in humanity would bring nothing but ruin.

If only she had killed the human who entered their land and bewitched her innocent daughter..

Now, none of that matters.

She will not repeat the same mistake.

Never!

"All human Beings can only perceive the world through the filter of their values. The weak man cannot ever reach the point where he can kill another."

Hippolyta looked at the sky with a trace of bitterness flashed across her eyes and asked a question.

Because in the past, she never trusted any other race except her people.

As for mother boxes, three races United in front of the common enemy.

After that, each went their own ways.

Trusting humans was her biggest mistake.

"So, do you know why murder is a crime that is despised by others?"

Diana shook her head, indicating she didn't know.

"That's obvious... Because they're weak. Weak humans without power cannot cross that line. That is why, they envy murderers who step outside the bounds of society and become pariahs. The murderers accomplished what the weak could not. This is not limited to the murderer. However, because they're powerless. The weak do not take action, instead limiting themselves to voicing objections from a place of safety. So, pitiful."

"Humans are like that. Because of their own powerlessness, they envy others. Feel jealous and hatred towards someone better than them. They'd even plot against their own creators, saviour."

Her last word was clearly aimed at her daughter, who had been immersed in thinking.

"But mother. The master's parents were human too." Diana questioned with a doubtful expression.

Upon hearing Izumi's name, a genuine smile appeared on Hippolyta's face.

She caressed her daughter's head and said.

"And, we're grateful to them. They brought up an outstanding man and our saviour. Humans like them are very rare."

"Also, I'm not saying all humans are bad either. A coin has two sides. But, Humanity has many. Especially, their greed might destroy the world."

"Understood?"

After finished speaking, she glanced at Diana who nodded in understanding.

"Now go and practice."

"I'll definitely become stronger to protect Master Izumi from any danger.."

With burning determination, Diana clenched her fist and continued practice, far away.

"Silly girl. It's humanity's blessing to be alive till now."

Hippolyta said with a wry smile then her expression changed.

"Sister, you've changed a lot."

A woman with blue eyes and blond hair, wearing golden Amazonian Armour.

"You've grown stronger too, Antiope."

Antiope, the sister of Queen Hippolyta as well as the general of Amazons.

"Haha, of course. I want to serve him wholeheartedly."

Antiope laughed while her cheeks were a little rosy.

Hippolyta just rolled her eyes at her sister.

Meaning behind her words, I'm afraid only she knows.

But, her eyes never left her niece practicing at a distance.

"To this day, I still can't digest that you'd allow your daughter to take a sword again. I'm really envious of your brainwashing skill."

Hearing her sister sarcasm, Hippolyta got angry.

"It's called education not brainwashing."

Stop misleading, okay?

She knows it's her fault for hiding everything from her daughter which leads to many trouble.

"I won't repeat the same mistake again. It's my negligence in her childhood that almost leads to our tribe annihilation."

Thinking of that horrifying scene, her body subconsciously trembled.

Antiope snorted but in her heart, she agreed with her sister.

"Humph! It's those damn Olympians! If not for their insidiousness, how could mortals like humans find our base? It's ironic they used our own weapon against us. Unity was never an option. We were deceived from the start."

As she said, her killing intent surged, no one can remain calm after getting betrayed by their closest aid.

"It's all thanks to Diana's Asteria's armor."

Her eyes immediately softened looking at her niece.

"Speaking of Asteria's armor, Master said he'll modify it."

As if thinking something, Hippolyta turned towards Antiope.

"I don't know anything about this. Forget it. I'm here to inform you to get ready. The second phase is about to begin."

"No fault tolerance."

Both sisters' expressions finally turned serious.

However, anyone could see a trace of anticipation in their eyes.

What is the second phase? Please be patient!

____

Imperial Household, Japan.

"That kid is getting more mysterious."

Old Vermillion said looking at the news repeating again and again.

"Vanessa, did you read the letter?"

Looking at his wife, who was tightly holding a picture frame, he asked.

The impact of their daughter's death on her was more serious than they could imagine.

Everyone was sad. They had to come out of this sadness sooner or later, but that doesn't mean they would forget or forgive.

Vanessa Vermillion, the former Empress of the Imperial family and mother to six children.

"....No." Vaneesa whispered as her tears rolled down uncontrollably.

"If I hadn't left, then would all this have happened?"

She thought inside her heart with a depreciating smile.

"I want to see those bastards die!" She wiped her tears and growled hoarsly.

There's nothing heavier than seeing your children dying before parents.

And, the key was that she...no they, had no idea of her death until Izumi Miyamura, her grandson told them.

Learning from Mereoleona, her heart was in so much pain that she wished that she would die.

As a mother, she wanted nothing more than to kill everyone who wronged her daughter.

Unfortunately, fate had other plans.

She fell ill and had to be transferred to the USA for treatment.

Before this, she was one of the few, who knew that her second daughter, Iori fell in love with Nakiri's Eldest son and they already had a one year old son.

She gave her blessings and promised to help her wholeheartedly.

What she never expected was that someone would take advantage of it, making it their last ever meeting.

Speaking of which..

This was another loophole that pushed Vermillion family into the cusp of the storm.

In other words, her mother unknowingly helped her enemies, giving them another advantage.

Years passed, she was deceived by everyone in the family, thinking they knew how and where she was living.

Two years ago, she saw a familiar face on the TV and heard he was an orphan.

Her defense broke.

That face..... exactly like her daughter.

In the end, what happened?

No more.

She desperately tried to ask if everything was a lie.

She didn't want to believe anyone's words until she saw them in her own eyes.

As an empress, she wasn't a fool.

She noticed from the beginning when her husband and eldest daughter visited her.

Her intuition was telling her that something was wrong, but she was helpless.

Even doctors and nurses didn't open their mouths on this.

Her guards were simply tight-lipped.

It took a long time before she got a clue.

That second her daughter, Iori ran away.

She wasn't worried about this, instead she found some rubbish rumours, slandering her daughter for being an ordinary, how she had no talent compared to her other siblings.

Excluding, Leopold and Mimosa, of course.

That day, she was so furious that her heart disease almost came back.

When did it become like? Talent?

Ordinary? How come our family degraded into something like comparison?

Why did no one ever refute this?

When she found out those old men of their family were the initiatior of everything, her only thought was to skin them all.

Letting them live was the biggest fault her husband ever did.

Don't underestimate her just because she was a woman.

No ordinary woman would ever become an empress.

Just look at Mereoleona, who inherited her mother's fiery temper.

No matter how hard, she and others tried, they couldn't find any information about her.

It's as if she disappeared out of this world.

Her only comfort was that she could see and hear about her grandchild.

People kept praising him as a leader of the new generation.

How he opened an era, his works, his masterful businesses, the most dangerous criminal in the world or what not, etc..

None of that matters to her.

In her eyes, he was her grandchild and the only piece to know about her daughter.

She wanted to meet him, but didn't know how to face him.

*Sigh*

"Blame me. If only I hadn't given them authority.."

Vanessa opened her eyes and didn't speak.

Keep caressing the photo with affection.

"Old man, mother! Kyousuke called and said he's coming back with his family."

Fuegoloen who was worried about his mother quickly changed the topic and delivered the good news

"Really?!"

Old Vermillion stood up in excitement and Vaneesa didn't react, but longing in her eyes stated the facts.

She longed for her family to become one again, but it's already too late.

Her daughter will never return.

Old Vermillion's eyebrows furrowed deeply and he fell into deep thinking.

After a few minutes, he asked, "Why suddenly? What's the reason?"

As expected from the former king, no one knows his son better than him.

With that stubborn personality of Kyousuke, he was sure there was some story behind it or else how could he give up being a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?

Isn't all this in vain?

"This...."

Fuegoloen's pupils shrank and words stuck in his throat.

Now, what to do?

Spill the beans or distort the facts.

If it's later, there's no doubt, I'm sure the old lady will surely kill me.

Hearing lies for years, she had become more sensitive than before.

After all, no one would have expected that things would go sideways.

He just wants to change the subject and how come it dug a bigger pit?

In truth, he wanted to wink at his father, but felt another gaze on him.

He had a deep understanding of his mother's temper and what's more that her state these days was clearly worrying.

"Fuegoloen! Spit out everything!"

Vanessa narrowed her eyes and said.

Her thinking was exactly the same as her husband.

Something must have happened which made her son come out of his seclusion.

Lost her daughter and now you want to take another child from her?

Just kidding! This time, I'll see who is so daring?!

A small glint flashed in her eyes, making Fuegoloen shudder.

He smiled reluctantly and was about to explain.

*Creak*

"Damn! It's too good! I like that brat!"

Mereoleona opened the door and walked in with an excited face.

Completely ignoring the ambiguity between her words.

Fuegoloen couldn't help but lie down in his heart.

Good sister.

Fuegoloen felt glad that his mother's attention was shifted to his rebellious sister.

Her eyes made him very scared.

Even a dignified Grand Marshall can't escape mother's claws.

"Cough... Cough. Speak clearly, daughter."

Old Vermillion clearly noticed his slip of tongue before and son's plight, so he decided to give him a hand.

Both father son nodded knowingly.

"Huh? What did you say?!"

Mereoleona suddenly became dissatisfied, and failed to notice the prompt from their eyes.

She simply sat near her mother and said, "He made too many noises. But, it's okay. I'll support him, mother. So, don't worry."

"Um." Vanessa nodded slowly as she looked at her daughter and thought.

'Is this why she refuses to marry?'

'Is she into a younger boy?'

She shook her head and decided to ask her later.

Now, she had something else to do.

Duo's relief came to an abrupt end.

Under the aura of the former Empress, both father and son had no choice but to yield.

Women are really unreasonable.

Only God...no,I'm sure even he doesn't know that goes inside their minds.

{A/N: Japan has an Emperor system. Mereoleona is the current Empress and Matriarch of the Imperial Family (Vermillion) and at the same time PM of Japan, which is very rare as it can be seen from ancient times. An all in one package, don't you think so???}
