40 Minutes Before Victorias Arrival

???: Captain! Order from general!
I grabbed the phone he had on his hands and started hearing the HRC orders which I started shouting for the Brigades to start dropping down.
Lloyd: Arnold, Drop the hatches and get the others to roll the Landships & Steam Carriages out!
Arnold: Yes Captain! Oi roll em down!
Soldiers: Yes sergeant!
RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
Soon the engines roared throughout the lower floors of the airship and the Sounds of guns being moved around and cannons beings reloaded.
Lloyd: GO! GO! GO!
The Landships at the back of the hatch started moving backwards and soon were starting to fall backwards towards the ground. I made three Landships move backwards every twelve seconds to give the Landships time to fall.
With their very thick armor similar to the georgeson tanks they can survive a fall of 60 meters above ground. The only problem is the people themselves but they should be fine with the new suspension the wheels made.
I signaled for the Stream carriages to start dropping out but they would have a parachutes that are three times reinforced cloths to make them slow down the fall and not break the vehicles wheels.
Arnold: Sir would you like to join me in some hunting?
I looked at Arnold and nodded at him before I ran towards my Office where I grabbed my newly made Maxim Machine gun that is a shorter & hand held version than the turret version.
I did grab 2 Packs that are filled with Boxes of ammo for the Maxim Machine gun & Grenades to disarm infantry regiments. Once I came back I saw the Steam carriage ready to deploy so I jumped on the wheel of the carriage and into the open window of the carriage which Arnold was in.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
I did feel like my soul went out my body with the fall and felt kinda scared but I overcame it with the battlefield. Of course our Armored Steam Carriage is being rocked around with the shooting of the AA turrets.
Arnold: Guess Generals orders to increase the armor & body of the vehicles was a good call...
Lloyd: Indeed, well let's get the party started!
We soon felt the carriage reach the ground, Arnold & Me had grabbed a part of the Carriage bars as we felt ourselves almost fall to the wood floor. We also need to make the insides more nicer and filled with some more space.
Arnold: Gatling Gun or Driving?
Lloyd: You know me Arnold. As one of the top 50 Master Gunners in the U.S I am connected to these beautiful guns.
Arnold: Ha ha ha, who cares just make sure we don't get blown up.
I smirked and soon got into the Gatling guns Spot and looked at the holes that were made for us to be protected & where we fire. Arnold had a place where he could see everything around him which is perfect in case Sharpshooters found us and injured us.
Lloyd: Approaching enemy lines! I will fire the Gatling Gun as we are in good range, 150 bullets for 150 U.C soldiers that want to overtake the Union.
I started spinning the crank handle and the Gatling Gun started firing at the Emmy that was hiding behind sandbags. While some shots were stopped by the Sandbags, some did pierce through and pierced the bodies of the enemy soldiers and their Screams were heard everywhere.
The Landships on our sides did start to fire off their 2 side Auto-Cannons that did blow up some part of the infantry and made them retreat back. And some of the enemy vehicles did start to shoot back and soon the explosions of the Cannons hitting Landships and Gatling guns killing infantry began.
I kept shooting the places where the infantry is holding at and shooting at officers that used their weapons to shoot at us but their weapons did Nothing only the Officers with the Tyrannosaurus Rifle & Brigand Rifle are the ones we have to be careful about.
Arnold: Reload the Gatling gun and tell the nearby units to keep distracting the enemy until it is safe to drop off the Infantry Regiments.
I nodded and took out the circular Ammo box on top of the Gatling gun and changed it for another one. Once I had done it I grabbed the radio I brought and started switching the channels until seconds later I got into our Radio Channel.
I started giving out said orders of Arnold and gave them the order to march forwards. The sounds of Cannons being fired at sandbags and then the injured bodies of the U.C flying out of cover made me smirk a bit before Arnold started to drive the Carriage onwards.
CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!
Bullets were being bounced around the Steam carriage while we were killing the soldiers. I aimed at a small group of infantry who was retreating before I unleashed a hail of bullets that pierced their bodies.
AHHRGHHH
R-RUN AWAY
FALL BACK!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Me and a small band of Landships advanced and had shot the enemy infantry until I heard two of the Landships beside me blow up. I immediately looked where it came from and saw 25 Whitworth Cannon's Lined up nearly 389 Meters ahead.
Lloyd(Radio): Everyone is to take cover behind houses or whatever is near! Arnold get us behind the landships and get out the carriage before we are blown up!
LRC: Yes sir, Cove- ARGGHH
BOOM!
BOOM!
Lloyd: Dammit, Arnold get the Tyrannosaurus Rifle, 1896 Rifle, and Bags of explosives! I will take the radio and my Maxim Machine gun & Ammo bags.
I grabbed my Ammo Bags which I strapped to my back & front of my torso. I grabbed the Maxim Machine Gun and held it close to me. I looked at Arnold and saw him place the explosives on his back and carry the Henry Rifle with him before he kicked the carriages Hatch open.
Arnold: Hurry up, We can go around or get the airships to Bombard them.
Lloyd: We can but reloading the cannons to make a volley would take 3 hours, and we would need those volley shots to destroy the massively Reinforced Steel barricade they had made.
Arnold: Damm, do you want to go around and blow up their cannons?
Lloyd: Thought you'd never ask
Arnold: Oh shut up, Let's just deal with them first.
We did move into houses avoiding the explosions hitting the area around us and moving towards the forest. While we did make it there we found some U.C troops that were probably patrolling. I aimed and fired at the first three near me injuring them and alerting the other 14 in the nearby area.
???: Dammit, Weren't the Withworth Cannons dealing with their Infantry Soldiers & Landships!?
Arnold shot his Henry rifle to the ones to our left and had made them take cover. I rolled towards a nearby tree before I started shooting the U.C soldiers body part that were sticking out of the tree or that had their heads exposed a little bit.
I took a deep breath before I turned around and started running towards a regiment of the Infantry. While I was running I felt my parts of my body be grazed by bullets and some bullets hit my Armor.
I dived into a bush and rolled out of it quickly as bullets were shot at the bush, one bullet did graze my leg. I pulled the trigger and let the Maxim MG do it's work as it's hail of bullets went through the infantry's bodies killing them.
ARGGHH!
MOVE BACKWARDS!
D-DAMMIT!
I took cover once again and started to fire back before hearing Arnold firing off his Henry rifle and screams from the U.C soldiers when they were shot.
Arnold: Damm, Lloyd take cover, Artillery!
I looked at the sky and saw multiple artillery shells coming straight towards our location. I started running and avoiding the bullets from the infantry, I heard the artillery shells impact the ground behind me making me run faster to not die.
Arnold: Lloyd, turn around and Jump!
I turned around then jumped as I saw Arnold grab me by the waist as It took a mouthful of air. This fucking bastard almost made me die!
Lloyd: Why the f-
Arnold: No Time for questions, just start firing of your gun behind me to kill the soldiers behind us.
I watched the U.C soldiers run for their life while shouting curses and some somehow managed to start shooting at us while running even if their aim is just horrible.
I started firing off the Maxim Machine gun and even if some bullets missed the MG was a weapon to deal with infantry units. I did end up killing most of the 3 party Regiment and I thought I felt we were going a lot faster making me turn towards Arnold and try to ask him why we were going faster when I saw an entire firing line filled with Militia & Infantry Regiments.
Lloyd: HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET US THIS FAST TO OUR DEATH!?
Arnold: SHUT THE HELL UP AND TRUST ME!?
When I heard the rifles fire their bullets I closed my eyes and prayed to God that I live another day to meet a beautiful woman and Have a family.
Arnold jumped up and managed to somehow dodge bullets from a 120 Firing Line. Is god saving us because of my prayers or because I totally believed in myself.
Arnold then rolled towards sandbags and released me making me fall onto my face and become pissed off a little. I looked at him and He looked back at me with a little bit of Shaking.
Arnold: Um, sir before you do something you regret can we just Deal with the firing line that's charging straight Towards us?
Lloyd: Fine dammit, Get 5 explosives and start throwing them to the charging enemy and start firing once your done.
I took out some hand grenades and threw them over the field which when the U.C soldiers charged and passed near them it exploded and took 9-14 people out.
LET'S GET THEM BO-

STOP CHAR- ARGH!

STOP AND FIRE!
Arnold threw his and got many soldiers to die, once they went off me and Arnold got up with our guns before firing which got us a lot of kills but Arnold got shot in the arm by one of the five officers.
Arnold: Dammit
I shot the enemy officer on his chest but some bullets bounced of his chest, at least some pierced through his flesh.
I moved back down for cover to reload the Maxim Machine gun, I got up and kept shooting the enemy soldiers while ducking down when bullets flies over my face or bounced off my armor plates.
I grabbed another grenade before throwing it at a group of militia which were blown up. I started shooting once again and felt bullets bounce off my armor and seeing an officer running to another place for cover made me act quickly and start firing at said officer.
I was first shooting right behind him before I got focused and had started shooting his bodies right side killing him on the spot. Once one of their officers was down Arnold told me to get prepared to charge the officers.
I nodded and soon charged forward with him charging forwards to another officer who started to shoot at him. I aimed my Maxim at said officer before shooting at him making the officer take cover.
I neared one of the officers and he surprised me by getting out of cover and shooting ten D.R.U.M bullets straight to my chest knocking me backwards.
Officer: Die union bastard!
I aimed my Maxim gun at him before firing straight at him who dodged before shooting more D.R.U.M bullets straight towards him. I rolled to the left before I got up and shot his armor once again only to be stopped by his armor.
Lloyd: Fuck it!
I ran towards him before tackling him to the ground making us both drop our guns to the floor. I got on top of him before I started punching him on the face. He punched my face and then rolled to the left which threw me off him before I quickly got up.
We both were now on our feet and starting to trade punches, luckily Arnold started dealing with the officers and nearby soldiers. I moved my torso to the left before doing a right hook making him fall to the ground.
I grabbed a knife from my boot and Stabbed it on his foot making him scream, I grabbed the knife from his leg before rolling as I stretched my arm out and stabbed the knife on his Neck instantly killing him.
I breathed in a bit before getting up and grabbing the knife then placing it back in the boot. I grabbed the Maxim I tossed around and reloaded it with another Magazine from my backpack.
I looked for Arnold and found him under a tree taking some breaths and...some bullet holes were on his torso. I walked over before stretching my arm and Arnold stretched his hand and grabbed mine before I pulled him up.
Lloyd: Let's blow up the canons before I get you to the medics...
Arnold: Hmm, let's....go...then...
He nodded before grabbing some explosives and started setting the time they explode. I looked at the explosives and saw them have 35 minutes and ticking making me help Arnold up before we started to walk towards where the cannon shots are being fired from.
5 minutes later
Within the first five minutes we ran into more Infantry & Javelin regiments which I had to throw some grenades to finish them quickly and not let the bombs go off.
We arrived at the place where a long firing line of cannons were placed next to each other with a full camp 80 meters behind the 25 cannons. We had to hide near the tree line because of Sharpshooters surveying the area all around from the small towers.
I did see some Elite regiments, Renowned Officers, 10 Landships that are being prepared, and a Georgeson Tank that looks tougher & heavily Armored.
Lloyd: Arnold can you hold up to drive a Beast of Power and Iron will?
I passed him binoculars and looked where the Georgeson Tank was at and with the grin he gave off, It will be a great moment for us both.
Arnold: Let's switch to melee, there should be over 30 Regiments with 15 being Trained Infantry, and the other 5 Regiments Special.
Lloyd: Regiment of Sharpshooters, 2 Regiments full of Riflemen Knights with five Knights carrying M19 MG's. Shock Troopers that are part of the Black Raven Corps, and lastly The Upper Elite Regiment that is under the command of one of Morgan's Council.
Arnold: The Upper Elite are people we cannot fight directly, Shock troopers will be kinda easy to deal with as they are grouped together, The Knights Regiments are another problem.
Lloyd: I can contact Radio Command to push up once the cannons are destroyed, the only problem will be not to die. The only way I see it for us to survive is to take the Georgeson Tank and kill the drivers & gunners.
Arnold: We need to distract the Sharpshooters or just deal with them after nearby soldiers are killed so we may sneak up on them. the towers are kinda short so we will have enough time. As long as 3-5 are distracted we can take care of the Sharpshooters before anything else.
Lloyd: Alright, If we find bottles of alcohol make sure to put rags on them to make Molotovs and burn their supplies down if you manage to find them.
Arnold: If we can't make it we would at least buy time for the allied forces to charge and get them to retreat.
I nodded before taking out a lighter and my trusty old knife, I gave the Lighter to Arnold then started going another way while looking to the small towers every five seconds.
When I was near a tent I stopped and hid behind of it and tried to hear where the voices of soldiers where. I heard some laughter and talking about the northern front.
Soldier I: It's still a surprise seeing them still standing after a couple of weeks.
Soldier II: They will either away soon just like the others before them, Even with that general bringing his forces here it won't matter.
Soldier I: Guess you're right, Wonder if we should still reinforce the barrier. Now that that annoying Project is done we can go enjoy ourselves after the war is over.
Soldiers: Aye!
Hearing them talk about the soldiers here dying to protect their family made me grit my teeth before I move somewhere else. I looked towards the Western tower before I start sneaking towards the tower but it is difficult with a lot of soldiers everywhere.
I managed to get right below the tower, I took out my knife before pulling out another knife from my right boot. I jump onto the tower before stabbing my knifes onto the wooden Log, I start climbing up slowly without making much noise.
When I did make it up I took a peek and saw the Sharpshooters wearing green uniforms and a Red Cross in their right shoulder as an Insignia. Damm, there are were part of Bernards Sharpshooter Corps and they still have their uniforms.
I grab onto the wooden ledge before pulling myself up into the snipers nest which surprised the Sharpshooters before I slashed my knife horizontally to one of their necks.
SS: Dam-
Before the second one could take out his pistol I punched him and grabbed the hand that had the pistol. I started hitting his hand on one of the towers Log's which made him drop the pistol.
I pierced my knife through the Sharpshooters skull as I let him fall onto the wood floor. I grabbed my knife back and started searching both their bodies for Withworth Sniper bullets. I found about 44 Bullets on them and 23 Explosive rounds making me smile, this should be enough to engulf the camp into chaos.
I grabbed the Withworth Rifle And placed it on my back before hearing a click as I started reloading the Maxim Gun & Withworth Rifle with their ammo while thinking ways to not get caught.
While I was thinking about how to make distractions I heard Some soldiers cheering so I looked over the half wooden wall. I saw the Knight Regiments leaving the infantry regiments to guard and only leaving the Shock Troopers & 6 Officers on the camp.
Lloyd: This is better than expected, I can deal with the shock troopers with the Maxim Gun only if my armor can hold out long enough. If not I might as well use the shock troopers armor as a substitute.
I waited for the next five minutes before I started to climb down the tower and move towards the tower next to this one with some soldiers patrolling around.
Unfortunately some soldiers where drunk and spotted me making me sigh before I pulled a handful of throwing knives from my waist before swing my arm horizontally as each knife pierced their throats or skulls.
Lloyd: I guess training as a Upper Elite paid off as my precision & strength kept increasing....
I grabbed all my knives before cleaning them with the enemy soldiers uniforms and placing them back onto my waists throwing knife holster. I did climb up the tower with my main knifes, When I climbed up I just went straight in before stabbing my knifes at their bodies making them be defensive.
I moved backwards avoiding a knife swing from one of them, I smiled before putting some strength into my swings. I started swinging my knifes horizontally & Vertically which made countless Cuts on their clothes.
Even if they were bleeding they still stood up and we three looked at each other more closer. It was also at this time that I saw what rank & Insignia they have making me grin a bit.
Lloyd: First Lieutenant Floyd Gray & Second Lieutenant Daniel Watts or better known as "The brothers of the battlefield" with a combined kill count of 648. Involved with the Red Cross Division.
Daniel: Nice to know we are famous to get someone of your caliber to come here himself. Mister Lloyd Cogborn, A man renowned for being one of the top 100 Master Gunners in the U.S. And with your other Alias "Shadow Zekiel" a man with no mercy but brings death to those who are in his way. Also part of Legendary General Entex Special Forces who has a kill count of 3134...
I smiled hearing those words before relaxing a bit of not messing this up, but maybe I can bring them into Apollyon's Division. They do have a reputation for being one of the kinder & talkative Officers in the U.C..
Floyd: What does the Head Intelligence Officer want to do to us now that we are here. Even if We die we at least will die fighting.
Lloyd: Don't worry, I've heard about your personalities and wish for you both to join his majesty's Forces, You both should know nothing can stop General Entex when it comes to battles.
Daniel: Majesty? Why would we even join you and General Apollyon's Army? Is it not the Union who is fighting this long war?
Lloyd: You are correct but the Noblemen Council have decided to change the whole System once the war finishes. They already know how he is like and have decided to make him the Leader of the Union & Head of the Council.
Floyd: Why even tell us this, we would not accept not knowing how the General is or why even give us the reason.
Lloyd: He is a great friend of mine and you would profit being in his army. anyone of your family or friends would be welcomed as we all treat each other like family. We are greedy with protecting what is ours and we will always be there when you have a problem.
Daniel: Then if the General does end the war what will he do with the soldiers who fought this long war for power...?
I grinned before I told them he would only place them into prison and deal with the countless problems that will come with the ending of the war.
Lloyd: Don't you want to find happiness? Find yourself a woman and settle down whom you'll have children with.
Lloyd: Even I myself find that incredible with my job but I want to end this bloodshed that keeps killing innocents. Entex will win this war and make sure the people have a chance to rise up and build up.
Daniel: *Sigh* Fine, We would like to just stop this bloody war already. We have nothing to loose and would rather join the winning side and be free from the shackles of the Plague.
I raised my hand and gave them my hand to shake, he accepted and soon fell down onto the wooden floor making me Laugh a bit.
Lloyd: It's a surprise you both managed to survive through the pressure I was giving out.
Daniel: So that was the pressure you were releasing..?
Lloyd: Indeed, Being in Entex and training for some time changes you mentally & Physically.
Daniel: Whatever, So do you need help turning this place upside down or do you have a plan?
Lloyd: I had a plan until I met the both of you , and what do you mean by turning the place upside down?
Floyd: A small majority of the Soldiers stationed here want peace and to stop killing. There are also two Officers who have started some plans to join you guys.
Lloyd: Interesting, well boys time to go call your soldiers and get them ready to cause chaos and the time to stop this war starts now.
They grinned before going down towards random places and leaving me with a job to finish before helping them cause even more chaos.
Lloyd: General, things are going according to your plan and I hope you go with the promise you made to us all...
