Gu Ningyue glanced at the waiter approaching her, nodded slightly, and followed him back to Ling Tianyou's side.
Seeing her return, Ling Tianyou cast a glance at someone approaching from a distance and softly said, "Mom and Dad aren't feeling right today, you'll need to take extra care later."
Gu Ningyue nodded, "I'll do my best."
Comforting people was something she was never good at.
Ling Tianyou responded lightly, "Something might go wrong today, I just saw..."
Before he could finish, two men in suits had already arrived in front of them, "President Ling, Young Madam, our condolences!"
Ling Tianyou extended his hand, shook theirs briefly, exchanged a few words with the men, and then had someone take them inside.
Gu Ningyue looked at the two men, inexplicably feeling they looked familiar, "Have you worked with them before?"
Ling Tianyou shook his head, "No!"
Gu Ningyue asked, "Then who are they? Why do they seem familiar to me?"
