Now dressed in a fresh set of casual clothes, Gou Feng sat on the edge of his bed, a towel draped over his damp hair as he absentmindedly dried it.
His gaze eventually drifted toward the bedside table.
His phone rested there.
The screen was cracked from one corner to the other, though it still powered on without any problem.
"..."
He stared at it for a long moment, before letting out a sigh.
Maybe it was finally time to buy a new one.
But, then again, did he really need one?
He rarely used his phone outside of work. Whenever he returned to his dormitory, it was usually tossed onto the table before he buried himself in books.
Hours would pass without him noticing, and he would only stop when Shen Jiu or Huan Zhan barged in to drag him out for a meal or remind him to get some sleep.
For someone like him, a phone was little more than a tool.
Still, he needed it.
Especially for work.
