Across from them, Martha laughed warmly.
"He even takes good care of you. You two suit each other."
Gou Feng could only smile awkwardly.

Martha studied him for a moment before speaking again.
"Your features are beautiful. Especially your silver hair and those eyes. One of your parents must be a foreigner."
Gou Feng nodded.
"My mother was Russian. My father was Cantonese. I inherited my mother's appearance."
"No wonder," Martha said with a smile.
"You have such unique features."
After chatting for another twenty minutes, Uncle Jay finally stood.
"Well… We'll leave you two to rest. I will help you with your luggages later." He said.
"Take a rest for now. Your room is ready. If you need anything, our house is just across the neighboring courtyard. Don't hesitate to call."
Martha nodded in agreement.
"Get some well rested. You've both traveled a long way."
