Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 26

‎Gou Feng's jaw clenched.

‎Who spread such a rumor about him?

‎Cheung Qi and the Pact Leader had strictly forbidden anyone from revealing his background.

‎Only the Lycan clans and the officials of the Mundane Realm knew the truth. Every one of them had sworn a binding oath of secrecy.

‎Breaking that oath wasn't merely betrayal. It carried consequences.

‎For the briefest instant, Gou Feng's eyes narrowed, before they returned to their usual calm.

‎"...Whoever started that rumor must have far too much free time."

‎The blond man's grin widened.

‎"Oh, did I strike a nerve? I never said it was true. I only said we'd heard the rumor."

‎He studied Gou Feng with renewed interest.

‎"But your reaction tells me there's more to it than simple gossip."

‎Damn it.

‎Gou Feng cursed inwardly.

He'd reacted for only a fraction of a second. Yet this bastard had caught it.

‎Fortunately, it wasn't enough to confirm anything.

‎A cold scoff escaped his lips.

‎"You people are completely insane."

He looked around the room as though he were surrounded by idiots.

"I never admitted I was a Lycan. So someone starts a ridiculous rumor, and you idiots believe it?"

A mocking laugh escaped him.

"What? Just because I'm better-looking than the rest of you, you've convinced yourselves I'm secretly some mythical wolf? And suspected me to be an Omega?"

He clicked his tongue.

"I've heard some unbelievably stupid things in my life… But this might be the dumbest."

‎His gaze swept contemptuously across the room.

"And besides… We all have the same equipment. If you're all so interested in men..."

His lips curled into a cold sneer.

"Why don't you entertain each other instead? Why drag me into whatever pathetic fantasy you've cooked up?"

The blond man's expression darkened instantly.

Without warning, his fist slammed into Gou Feng's face.

Pain exploded across his jaw.

The force of the blow snapped his head violently to the side, sending a wave of dizziness through him and blurring his vision.

‎Damn…

‎Why is my endurance so terrible right now? Since when did a single punch affect me like this?

The metallic taste of blood spread across his tongue.

Slowly, Gou Feng forced himself upright, ignoring the throbbing ache in his head and the sharp pain radiating through his jaw.

Despite the injuries, he refused to let even the slightest trace of weakness show on his face.

‎The blond man seized him by the collar and yanked him forward until their faces were only inches apart.

‎"Whether that rumor is true or not..."

‎A cruel smile slowly spread across his face.

‎"There's only one way to find out."

Without taking his eyes off Gou Feng, he barked,

‎"Lock the door!"

‎The heavy metal door groaned shut.

‎The blond man then let out a low, satisfied chuckle.

‎"It's time to have some fun."

Still reeling from the effects of the punch, Gou Feng forced himself to remain calm, and internally measured on what he can do to escape, completely tuning out the blond man's voice.

‎When unexpectedly something warm and wet slowly brushed against the side of his neck.

It caught him completely off guard. His entire body stiffened as a wave of revulsion and seething rage swept through him the instant he realized what had just brushed against his skin.

‎This bastard. Actually licked me!

‎A murderous glint flashed across his eyes.

‎I'm going to kill you.

‎The blond man's hand found his chin once more, his fingers digging painfully into Gou Feng's bruised jaw as he forced his head upward.

A fresh wave of pain shot through his face, but ‎Gou Feng only gritted his teeth.

‎Ignoring the agony, he stared directly into the blond man's eyes, his own filled with nothing but cold, undisguised hatred.

‎There was no fear, only a silent promise, that says; the moment he got free. Someone here is going to die.

‎His unwavering defiance only seemed to amuse the blond man even more.

‎A twisted smile crept across his lips as he slowly bit his lower lip, his eyes gleaming with dark, unsettling intent.

‎"My..."

‎He chuckled softly.

‎"I like that look."

‎His grip tightened beneath Gou Feng's chin.

‎"I wonder how long you'll be able to keep it."

‎The blond man's lips slowly curled back into a grin.

‎"Ah... fuck."

‎The words slipped from him in a low, breathless murmur.

‎"That expression... it's making my cock throb even harder."

‎The blond man licked his lower lip, undisguised lust flashing across his face.

Without hesitation, he grabbed Gou Feng by the waist and pulled him closer, lowering his head until his lips hovered near Gou Feng's neck, savoring the moment.

He inhaled deeply, a twisted grin spreading across his face.

"Ahh, that scent... Why do you smell like that lavender? Hm?"

A shudder of anticipation ran through him.

"Fuck... I can't wait to shove my cock deep in that virgin ass and pump you full of cum like a dog in heat. Arf! Arf!"

They all laughed like maniacs, the sound grating and unhinged.

Gou Feng's face contorted with disgust. He tried to turn away, only to be wrenched back by a cruel hand gripping his waist.

"I heard you've never been with anyone before."

A slow smile spread across the blond man's lips, and without hesitation, he slapped Gou Feng's thighs and pinched them with his free hand.

"That means I'll be your first..."

He glanced over the five men behind him, before his predatory gaze returned to Gou Feng.

"We'll all be your first. So brace yourself, pretty boy. You're about to experience something entirely new. Don't worry. We'll be very gentle, after all, it's your first time."

Gou Feng's bound hands slowly curled into trembling fists.

Not from fear, but from the fury surging through every vein in his body.

Even so, he made no attempt to struggle. Instead, a low chuckle escaped his lips.

It was soft, almost amused.

"Go on."

He slowly lifted his head, his icy gaze sweeping across the room until it met each of their eyes in turn.

There wasn't a trace of panic in them, only a chilling indifference.

"Try me."

The quiet confidence in his voice sent an inexplicable chill through the room.

The five young men's mocking smiles gradually faded.

For reasons they couldn't explain, an unsettling feeling crept into their hearts.

It was as if the man tied before them wasn't the prey, but a predator patiently waiting for someone foolish enough to make the first move.

But, the blond man wasn't intimidated in the slightest.

Just as he was about to force Gou Feng to the ground, a deafening bang suddenly echoed through the warehouse.

The heavy metal door burst inward with tremendous force.

The five young men standing closest to the entrance didn't even have time to react.

The door crashed into them, sending them sprawling across the concrete in a tangle of limbs and twisted metal.

Only the blond man remained standing, frozen directly in front of Gou Feng.

Both he and Gou Feng instinctively turned toward the now wide-open doorway.

Standing there was a tall man dressed in a white lab coat.

A pair of thin-rimmed glasses rested on his nose, and his naturally curly black hair was slightly disheveled, as though he had rushed over.

He blinked at the scene before him.

"...Oh."

Adjusting his glasses, he glanced at the mangled metal door with a sheepish expression.

"Goodness... I broke it again."

He let out a quiet sigh.

"It was jammed. I thought the hinges had rusted, so I gave it a little more force."

His brows knitted together as he examined the warped steel.

"...Now how am I supposed to explain this to the maintenance department?"

His gaze slowly drifted into the warehouse.

"Hm?"

He paused.

"...Did the door hit something?"

The blond man's face instantly lost all color.

"Professor Feng?"

Professor Feng frowned in confusion.

"Adrian?"

He stepped farther inside, looking between the students scattered across the room.

"What are you all doing here?"

His gaze drifted past Adrian and landed on the young man lying on the floor.

"Who is—"

The rest of the sentence caught in his throat.

Only then did he truly take in the scene.

The five students groaned beneath the fallen door.

Gou Feng's torn uniform. The bruises darkened his face. The steel restraints secured both his wrists and ankles.

Professor Feng's expression hardened almost instantly.

The easygoing warmth disappeared from his face, replaced by disbelief, and unmistakable anger.

"What is this?"

His eyes shifted toward Adrian.

"What exactly do you think you're doing?"

Adrian instinctively stumbled backward.

"I... Professor, it's not—"

"You handcuffed a student."

Professor Feng took another step forward.

"You guys locked him inside an abandoned warehouse. And judging from his condition..."

His jaw tightened.

"I don't think I need to finish that sentence."

The pressure in the room became suffocating.

Panic appeared in Adrian's face.

Professor Feng rarely lost his temper. That was precisely why seeing him angry was so frightening.

Without another word, Adrian spun around and bolted toward the exit.

"Stop!"

Professor Feng's voice rang through the warehouse.

"The key!"

Adrian faltered for the briefest moment.

"The key to those restraints!"

Professor Feng barked, his tone leaving no room for hesitation.

With shaking hands, Adrian fumbled through his pocket before pulling out a small key.

"I—I didn't do anything!"

He threw it toward Professor Feng before sprinting out of the warehouse.
