[POV Ryujin Flashback]
Then I remembered how he acted in his final moments, and the time we spent together... we fought side by side I remember the smile he always had and his merry laughter whenever we all celebrated as a family or while fighting... The times I sat on his shoulders and saw in the distant sea the words he spoke that day was embedded into my mind even till this day.
17 years ago...
"Ryujin do you know what it means to be free?"
"It means we aren't bound by the laws?"
"Gurarararara. Ryujin look at the birds, the fish, and the sea. What do they all have in common?"
"They're free to move about wherever they want unrestrained, and when someone tries to take their freedom they fight with all their might to not lose it. Freedom in my eyes is to be able to do whatever your heart desires and not be bound by anything that is freedom."
"Dad are we free?"
"Of course Ryujin no one would dare try to take away any member of our family."
"That makes so much sense afterall my dad is the strongest."
"Gurarara, Ryujin I maybe the current strongest as of right now but their used to be two people who could match me."
"Really! who are they dad?"
"I promise to tell you one day in the future."
Frowning a bit after hearing what my dad said.
"Gurarara, Why don't we get you some sweets Ryujin."
"Really!"
I instantly stopped frowning.
"Gurararara, of course Ryujin when did I ever lie to you?"
And then the memory faded away as another played...
Right before me was my dad whitebeard.
"Ryujin no matter what never give up your freedom, I don't care about the reason, if you gave up your freedom then you may never be able to accomplish your goals, and most importantly your not living your life how you want."
"I know dad I promise I won't ever do that."
"I would be disappointed if you ever did, their is nothing that could ever match the amount of disappointment I would have if I ever found out."
"You wouldn't even be a pirate anymore if you gave up your freedom willingly. But I know you would never do such a thing no matter the reason afterall your my son."

[POV Ryujin]
I felt nothing but disappointment, hatred, disgust, and anger.
'How could I even think like that, how could I even think giving up my freedom was a good idea. How could I even think my dad wasnt ready to die, he was suffering from the illness that plagued him.'
'My dad would be so disappointed in me, even thinking about giving up my freedom is terrible.
They made me almost spit on everything my dad stood for and I almost fell for it; this is unforgivable, I refuse to be like Teach, I refuse to be like Squard. I swore I would never betray him, I swore to never spit on his name, his legacy yet I almost did.'
'I will kill them all, and after that I will take their ship and then build my crew and I will become the pirate king of this new world for you dad. Everyone will know the name Whitebeard, I will not waver again dad that I swear... I will never betray you.'
With my mind made up, a resolute look appeared onto my face. And then a smile creeped it's way into existence. As I balled my fist cracks appeared in the air as then punched the leader straight in the face sending him flying.
Before any of the mages could react I then stomped my foot onto the ground as I raised my hand, cracks appeared all around my foot, as the I severed the village in two halves, supports cracked and splintered, houses collapsed into themselves I watched as the destruction unfolded and as many mages were swallowed up by the earth.
But the one who appears to be the leader quickly got back up, I knew he was the one who tested my magic. I wanted then all to pay for what they did but then most of the mages that I thought i disposed of appeared before me shrouded in a dark miasma that slowly faded away.
"Attack now all of you for Lord Zeref! If we fail here our lord may not be revived for ten years or even longer!"
The mage who tested my magic yelled out.
Then nearly a hundred different spells flew at me, some fire, some air, even earth and water magic. Then there was lightning, then there was the weird symbols some sent my way.
I balled up my fist once more cracks in the air appearing before my fist, the attacks were getting closer by the second. The spell were within arms reach of me but then that's when I punched out dispersing several elemental spells I tried dodging but having spells coming in every direction as a four year old, I could only dodge so many before they hit me. The black symbols were the first to hit me as soon. as they touched me, dark chains wrapped around my body my arms and legs were bound and then around ninety spells came hurling my way.
