Partia, the Party Island, not staying true to its name, welcomed the Black Pearl with a lingering silence.
Just like Hannabal, this Island too was inhabited by former and current Pirates, their relatives, and also my people connected to them. Therefore, the arrival of a Warlord was a terrifying sight for them, especially the one they knew they had no chance against.
How amongst them had not seen the glimpses of his powers at the Iron Paradise? It was broadcasted here on Partia as well. And then there were all the news about him being the reason that the Government Forces won against Ragnus The Warmonger.
Now, all of them were praying that he was here for sightseeing because if the battle was inevitable, they knew they would lose their lives.
The Blackstar crew looked at the beautiful Spring Island with colourful trees, and the sole town that was situated alongside the river that cut right through the middle of the island, dividing it into two parts.
When they Anchored their Ship where the Winner of the Dead End Race was supposed to anchor their ship, the people became even more confused, and then to their shock, the Event Organiser decalred The Nightmare as the winner.
Sin sighed as they got the name of his ship wrong again, but he was not going to correct them.
They did not care about what people thought of there presence. All they wanted to do was to collect their Prize Money and keave the Town.
Robin jumped off the ship and landed on the stage with Nami and Bonney, and then she submitted the Medallion that she had received last night after registering in the race.
Once people saw it, they finally believed that the Devil was not here to kill them but truly took part in the race, and finally, some cheers rose, which soon reached up to the sky.
The Orangehead grinned as she picked up two large briefcases and flew to the vessel, shocking people with her wings, and both Robin and Bonney simply jumped back onboard with two briefcases each.
There were a total of 300,000,000 Berries in these briefcases, and as soon as they received their reward, Bart pulled up the Anchor and continued sailing down the river.
"Alright now. The Captain is not taking his share in the prize, so, it will be equally divided between the rest of the twenty of us."
"Twenty?" Nami frowned as she looked around and her eyes landed on Hit and Vivi. "Why does Hit need money?" She knew that Sin covered all of Vivi's expenses, and since she was not part of the crew, she could not receive the share in their loot and prizes.
"He's part of the crew. So, he gets a share as well." Bonney grinned and then smiled at Rubis, Shaphir, and Emeraude, who were looking very restless. "Captain's Orders. You can not refuse. Everyone on the crew gets an equal share. These are what you will he using to cover your personal expenditures."
Her words made them smile, and even though they were very nervous, they did not refuse when Paschia brought several wodden briefcases from inside and each of them were filled with 15,000,000 Berries.
They also saw how handy her ability was in transferring the money as she could control these banknotes with her powers.
Everyone then either kept the briefcase in their room or submitted them to Bonney to keep them safe in the Ship's Treasury. Well, the only one who kept her briefcase with her was Nami.
Pascia laughed out loud when she later visited her room and found her laying down the Berries on her bed to sleep on them tonight, but she was kind enough to not tell that crew about it.
Not that Nami cared. She names to sleep on Berries tonight, and even if someone made fun of her, she would still do it.
Later in the afternoon, they Anchored the ship on the southern end of Partia, and instead of visiting the town, they decided to explore the island and hunt for some meat.
In the evening, except for Sin and Hit, everyone else visited the Island in groups of four.
Bart tagged along with Vigaro, Gad, and Augur. Bepo tagged along with Shachi, Penguin, and Lily. Bonney tagged along with Nami, Nojiko, and Vivi. Yamato tagged along with Pascia, Kuina, and Ain. And Robin tagged along with the Triplets, who wanted to do some shopping.
When they returned around Midnight, they found their Captain absent, but Robin, Augur, and Yamato could sense that he was in the Town, speaking to some people.
They did not even flich when they sensed him kill everyone inside that hideout, and when he returned, they saw that he had a very cold look on his face.
"Set sail." He ordered and tossed the Eternal Pose in his hand to Robin, who frowned when she read the name engraved on it.
Sin walked into his Quarters and picked up the Den Den Mushi, calling Tsuru, who quickly picked it up.
"Cave Island. It is close to Boin Archipelago, right on the edge of Calm Belt. They are hiding their ship inside the sea caves, and it is their base. The Island appears to be barren from the sky with no life on it."
"I see. We are heading there now."
"Stay safe." He told her and ended the call.
Sin walked up to the Helm, and took it from Bepo's hand, and soon the propellers and paddles of the ship started working.
Nami was shocked when she saw how fast their vessel was moving, and she became super excited with the idea of steering it sometime in the future since she could also use Electrical Powers.
The Crew soon became very tensed when they saw that their Captain was staying unusually quiet, and Bepo, who stood right next to him until they reached their destination in the morning. Two hours after the sky turned completely bright.
They frowned as they saw that it was not really a big island, and it truly appeals to be barren and devoid of any life.
Even the Sea Caves were hidden behind, and if one was not paying attention, they would never be able to find them.
Sin did not steer Black Pearl into any Cave, and instead ordered Bart to drop the Anchors a couple of hundred metres away from the Island.
"Robin. Seal away the water channels connecting to all the caves."
His sister quickly jumped up and climbed up the sky as she rushed towards the Island.
On his orders, only Vivi, Nami, Nojiko, Augur, Shachi, Penguin, and the Triplets stayed on the Ship, and everyone else moved to the Island.
"Robin, Ain, and Bart. You will take the south cave. Bonney, Hit, Vigaro, and Gad will take the cave in the east. Lily, Bepo, and Yamato will take the cave in the west. Kuina," he looked at the Swordsgirl. "You and Pascia are coming with me."
"Aye!"
"Be very careful. The Salt Logia is very tricky. Protect your insides with Haki at all times."
They all solemnly nodded to him and rushed out in different directions.
"Let's go." Sin said to them, and the two girls quickly followed him to one of the caves in the North of the island.
As soon as they entered the dark cabe, he used his lightening powers to create come illumination, and they soon found a pathway to land on.
They kept walking into the sea cave, and soon arrived next to cave in the wall.
Sin frowned when he saw that the cave had been built with Salt, and the one who had created it could easily destroy it and let all the weight above fall on them.
"Follow me." He led them away from it, and observed everything very carefully.
It was not long before the girls started picking up the signatures of people with their Observation Haki, and Pascia visibly grew very nervous.
They also heard the sounds of fighting breaking out as they got closer, and they were surprised when they picked up the signatures of their Crewmates.
When they rushed forward, they arrived inside a dome-shaped hall that had a massive Sea Vessel anchored at the junction where several water channels met.
All hell was breaking lose, and they were dismayed when they saw Bart and Ain fighting against Robin.
The two had strange glowing collars on their necks, and the Younger Black was trying to break those Collars and also fighting against green Energy Orbs that were rushing at her, trying to enslave her.
Vigaro and Gad fell victim to the strange power as well, and things did not look good for them.
Sin, staying calm, observed everything that was happening, and narrowed his eyes at the man work turquoise hair, who was wearing a purple suit and a white hat.
Kuina and Pascia were alarmed when black lightning erupted from his body and a powerful wave of Conqueror's Haki washed everywhere, making the fodder drop down and fall unconscious.
The man with turquoise hair was soon found by dark lightning shackles, unable to move, and Sin frowned when he peeked into future and saw what the man was about to do.
With wasted any time, he appeared right in front of him and decapitated him with his Nidai Kitetsu.
A deathly silence followed before the strange glowing collars on the necks of the people shattered, and at the same time, spears made of salt started falling down from the ceiling, rushing at them.
Robin unleashed torrents of Frostflame from her hands, freezing all the spears, spikes, and even the Salt on the walls.
Sin smiled when he sensed his sister freeze everything inside the Sea Caves and even the Salt Caves, where Gasparade was keeping prisoners.
Needless to say, the man was not pleased, and even though he tried meeting the ice with hia powers, he soon found out that he was unable to do it.
Frostflame worked differently than the Ice, and since Robin was actively controlling it, there was nothing he could do.
Yamato and Lily did not waste any time as they stated taking out the Pirates, and those who had been enslaved by Gasparade, mostly the Marines and even a Wolf Mink, all fought together with them.
Sin ignored Gasparade who charged at his sister, and he quickly rushed into the frozen Salt Caves and rescued the children and other prisoners, dropping them off on the Black Pearl.
Half an hour later, when he returned, he found Gasparade caged inside an Icy Dome, and Kuina alone was battling him.
