[C1-The Final Challenge]

It all began with a simple TV program.
Kane was just a simple child when on the screen he saw the figure of a martial artist preparing himself to karate chop ten wooden planks in one go.
He was curious at first...
What was the man trying to do? He will only hurt himself if he tries to hit something so hard, were his thoughts at the moment, he already knew that trying to hit something like that could only make one scream in pain.
Was this some kind of strange TV program for people with weird tastes?
[Hah!]
*Crash!*
However, the moment the scream of determination came from the Martial artist before he broke the ten wooden planks easily, Kane's eyes shone with an incredible light he had never had in the past, it was as if destiny was calling him with its sweet voice, and telling him to do the same thing that the man did.
He had never felt such passion before, it amazed him so much, that he embraced the TV and tried to see if there was anything else for him to see.
He had no interest in the strength of the man, nor in the martial art that he was practicing. What marveled him so much, was the very own action of karate chopping the wooden planks.
Months later after that incident, he finally got to attend karate classes thanks to his mother.
Kane wasn't exactly a prodigy. No, he was just like any other kid trying to learn karate, and although he tried his best to learn, there was a limit on how much could a child understand from the teachings of his master.
After a few years of training, he passed the final test and graduated from learning at that dojo. However, he was mediocre at best, as all his other peers had graduated before he had done.
Not that he really cared anyway.
Soon, he became an adult and became independent from his family. Only to go and live at the peak of the highest mountain from his city, to learn and practice the art of karate chopping.
Many months passed, and he continued karate-chopping wooden planks with all his might, however, just like any other human, his progress was almost inexistent. To the point that he could barely break 5 wooden planks without causing himself a severe lesion.
Many martial artists visited this mountain to practice and calm their minds, they all laughed at him when they saw him practicing Karate-chopping without even studying proper martial arts first. It was in a sense very ridiculous to see a young man trying to do what seemed to get stronger, without even training himself properly, and just chopping measly wooden planks with his hand.
However, after a whole year of training at the mountain, the moment he became 19 years old everything changed.
His hands, which were bruised for entire weeks after hitting rocks with the purpose of chopping them apart, soon started healing rapidly, and his muscles started hardening at frightening speeds.
The more injured he got, the faster his injuries could regenerate, and the harder his skin could turn when Karate-chopping.
A year after that, his injuries after hitting too hard could regenerate in just a matter of seconds.
However, at that point rocks weren't a challenge for him anymore. So he went to the city and started looking and challenging harder materials or objects to Karate chop.
First, it was granite, then it became steel, then diamond, and finally titanium.
He became a renowned figure in TV due to his incredible feats.
However, it wasn't enough for him.
After that, he started chopping objects from outer space, like meteorites, or strange alien crystals that fell on earth and were a lot harder than most metals on earth.
Soon enough, his body stopped functioning as a normal human would and became something else.
Only using his physical abilities, he jumped out of the planet and chopped apart a giant asteroid that was about to crash with earth, becoming like that the hero that saved humanity from extinction, and becoming the most famous person on earth. However, unlike what most people thought, he didn't rejoice in his newfound fame, but instead, became enlightened after facing the hardness of the asteroid, and decided to leave the planet and discover other types of harder materials for him to challenge.
However, that wasn't the end of his path.
Instead, he traveled across the universe with his sheer strength alone and chopped everything on his way. Be it planets, meteorites, or even UFOs, nothing could stand his might.
After that, his chop became so powerful, that even gaseous bodies like the stars that were spread across the universe, became something that could be chopped by him as if they were solid.
He chopped everything in his path, and soon, even space couldn't escape from his grasp.
After chopping the veil of the universe that separated the mortal plane from the Divine Plane, he entered the realm of Gods, where all the Gods that humanity had once worshipped and would worship in the future, existed and lived, and decided to challenge the precious materials that existed in that plane that could maybe be able to withstand his Karate-chop.
The Gods tried to stop him from becoming stronger, as a mortal, he wasn't supposed to reach such heights. However, they were unsuccessful as well and got chopped away out of existence.
In the end, after a long war against the Gods, Kane found himself facing the God of Creation itself.
It was at this moment, that everything changed for him.
He defeated him as well and the God didn't even stand a chance at all, he had grown so strong, that even the being that created everything got chopped away and ceased existing. However, after defeating him, without anything else to chop, there was nothing left for Kane to accomplish, no more goals, no more challenges.
"Two years... That's all it took me to reach this place after I became 19 years old... And I have already chopped everything that could be chopped? Is there really nothing else that represents a challenge?" Kane looked at his own hands blankly. The goal he had wished for so long had been finally accomplished.
However, he wasn't happy, nor did he feel satisfied.
"So this is really all, huh?" He clenched his fists and looked into the distance with narrowed eyes.
A small smile appeared on his face, and soon he got into the position of Karate chopping once again, like he had done so many times in the past.
"Like hell it is"
*Boooom!!!*
He chopped once, and everything around him shook.
*Boooooom!!!*
He chopped twice, the whole universe shook.
*Boooooooom!!!*
He chopped thrice, reality itself shook.
*Boooooooooom!!!*
Finally, he chopped for one last time, and soon, the fibers of reality were torn apart, and everything went black.
*Boooooooooooooooooom!!!*
He looked around in bewilderment and surprise. However, soon many spiderweb-like cracks started appearing everywhere around him as if something around there was breaking apart.
*Guooooooooooooooooooooooosh!!!*
And to make things worse, from one of the cracks, an enormous dark vortex started appeared and started attracting his body without even letting it retaliate. Even a black hole paled in comparison to the gravitational force of this vortex, and even though Kane tried to chop the vortex before being sucked into it, he was unable to chop it on time and ended up entering into it unintentionally, before he finally lost consciousness due to the exhaustion of the many battles and challenges that he had faced during these past two years without rest.
'That surely was a good ending...' were Kane's last thoughts before he disappeared from the universe where he had lived almost all his life.
Disappearing into the depths of the vortex, Kane's existence shattered into nothingness and left only the memories of those that once knew him as a reminder that he once existed... After that, his figure left to never be seen again. Just like that, the life of the Best Karate-chopper had finally ended.

-Somewhere else, a few days later...
...
The most famous market of planet Conufor was as crowded as every other day, it was known by the incredible variety of products that were imported from all around the universe, and all the races around the universe visited it at least once a year to get in their hand's expensive weapons or technologies of higher level that could help them in their everyday lives.
They even sold the latest model of the scouter, which allowed the user to read power levels of at least 100,000!!
This was one of the most requested and wanted items in the whole market, as the scouter was one of the most important tools while traveling across the universe because there was always the possibility of meeting with a powerful warrior in disguise, and not notice at all that he has an enormous level of power which could end them at any time.
Unfortunately, this item was very limited in quantity and it was very improbable to get your hands on one.
But it was at the moment of the most enormous auction in the universe, that this scouter incredibly got auctioned and the crowd erupted in cheers of finally getting the opportunity to get this scouter.
At one of the VIP seats, a beautiful young woman with long red hair tied into a ponytail looked with a longing gaze at the scouter. She had luxurious clothes and wore some defensive armaments on top of them that gave her the impression of being very skilled in combat.
From behind her, a waiter appeared and showed her a list of snacks that she could order while waiting for the Auction to continue.
"Bring me a glass of Tarylio Juice" She smiled at the waiter and asked for her drink before she turned to look at the center of the Auction once again.
"100,000 intergalactic coins!"
"300,000!"
"350,000!"
The people raised their voices while eyeing the scouter with greedy eyes.
The price of the scouter wasn't exorbitant, it was something that even a normal mercenary could buy if he worked hard enough. However, as the auction continued the prices started to get a bit too higher for normal people to keep up.
The merchants and famous personages attending to this auction really desired this scouter, as knowing whether the rival company's boss had an incredibly high power level, or had under his command a dangerous person with a high power level was a matter of life and death for them.
Right, when the young woman was about to raise her voice and bid for the scouter as well, suddenly a mysterious fissure appeared around the sky and everything around shook enormously.
No, not only the surroundings, the entire reality shook. Startling everyone around it, and alerting a few higher beings that did not expect sucha situation to happen out of nowhere.
Back at the fissure in the middle of the sky, after the trembling stopped, suddenly a figure came from inside it and fell heavily on the ground of the market, startling everyone looking at the scene, and making them try to look better at whatever had came from inside that fissure.
*Crack*
Soon, however, the fissure started closing at a rapid pace and disappeared in just a matter of seconds.
"Ugh... What now...?"
At the center of the Auction, a young man of black hair and black eyes woke up from his slumber and stood up groggily while looking around him trying to reasses his situation.
This young man was Kane, who had finally woken up after traveling through the boundaries of realities, and reached a new one with incredible foes and powerful new materials that might issue a new challenge for him to overcome.
However, right now he still needed to know where the heck was he, in the first place.

I'm probably not gonna add the time traveler stuff, mainly because I have not played Xenoverse, and I barely understand it.
But maybe just in case it might make this more novel more interesting, then I will have to research about it I guess...
