The second prince cleared his throat, straightening his robes with an air of seriousness. "Currently, the capital is swarming with large and small families. Each one of them is watching the other like a hawk, attacking here, defending there, always scheming."

He paused, expecting nods of deep agreement.

Sure enough, Jun Mo Xie lazily nodded.

"Good, good," He said, a smug smile creeping on his face as if he were agreeing with something profound.

The prince's eyes lit up. Finally, the infamous Young Master Jun seemed interested! He leaned forward, eager to continue—only to choke mid-sentence when Jun Mo Xie suddenly grinned wickedly and threw in, loud and clear:

"Your Highness speaks wisely… but speaking of attacks and defenses, Lady Yue'er's ass is so round and perky, I bet it could deflect arrows! Strong, bouncy… tsk tsk, makes a man wanna grab it and see if it's as firm as it looks!"

PFFT!

It was as if someone had shoved a foot-long housefly down the prince's throat! His entire face froze, eyes wide, mouth twitching uncontrollably. The serious, dignified air shattered like porcelain dropped from a rooftop.

Lord Liu coughed violently, face red as he tried to hide his disgust.

Fang Bo Wen blinked so hard, it looked like his eyes might pop out.

Even Young Master Cheng, no stranger to debauchery himself, shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

But Jun Mo Xie? He was humming casually, tapping the table, as if he hadn't just scandalized the entire room.

Amidst the awkward air at the table, where the second prince was trying to salvage the conversation and the others avoided eye contact after Jun Mo Xie's outrageous comment about Lady Yue'er's backside…

Suddenly, as if carried on a warm breeze, a clear, lilting voice echoed directly into Jun Mo Xie's mind through spiritual transmission.

Lady Yue'er spoke, bold and teasing, her tone smooth as silk:

"Young Master Jun, your eyes are sharp… it seems you've been paying close attention to this Yue'er's body."

Jun Mo Xie's lips quirked lazily, ready to shoot back his usual playful retort, but before he could, her next words came like a dagger cloaked in velvet:

"If it's my body you desire… why not just take it?"

Her tone wasn't embarrassed or shy. No, it brimmed with unmistakable confidence, sultry and sincere, dripping with daring.

"For you, I wouldn't mind surrendering it completely. My curves, my strength, everything—if it's you, Jun Mo Xie, I'd willingly offer them up without hesitation. All you need to do… is reach out and claim them."

For the first time in the entire banquet, Jun Mo Xie's smirk faltered ever so slightly. His mind, sharp and wicked, was used to teasing, provoking, and making others flustered—but now, faced with this unexpected boldness, even he was momentarily speechless.

Was she joking? Testing him?

But no, her spiritual voice carried no falsehood, no mock coyness. Only genuine, fearless desire, delivered without shame.

He couldn't help but his interest was piqued. His heartbeat, slow and steady like a predator's, skipped faintly.

Still, unwilling to give up, Fang Bo Wen and Lord Liu tried steering things back on track. They danced carefully around the issue, throwing out subtle hints about the Jun Family's strength. Each sentence was coated with layers of meaning, hoping Jun Mo Xie would grasp it and give them something useful.

But alas, they forgot—this was Jun Mo Xie, the capital's number one debauchee, the master of nonsense and derailment!

Their deep strategies? Drowned.

Their clever hints? Tossed out the window.

As soon as they tried approaching the topic seriously, Jun Mo Xie would smile innocently, then suddenly spew something ridiculous that left everyone staring at their plates, embarrassed beyond belief.

Fang Bo Wen shifted gears, bringing up statecraft and politics.

"A nation's true power," He began, stroking his beard wisely, "lies in its wealth. Without financial strength, one cannot govern properly. Money is the backbone of the empire."

"Money, yes! Right, right!" Jun Mo Xie suddenly clapped enthusiastically, eyes sparkling.

Fang Bo Wen was about to nod, proud his point had struck home—but Jun Mo Xie leaned back, crossed one leg over the other, and added cheerfully:

"Speaking of money reminds me—ah, that day, when Fatty Tang and I sneaked into Thousand Gold Hall in disguise! Oh ho, what a day! Your brother here cleaned them out in one go! Won so much that they started calling me the 'God of Gamblers'—no one could match me! Beast fighting, snake fighting, dog fighting, cock-fighting—you name it, I've bet on it! Cock-fighting's the best, though. The cocks get so fired up, feathers flying everywhere—"

He waved his hands wildly, mimicking flapping wings, saliva flying in all directions as he laughed uproariously.

The entire table stiffened.

Jun Mo Xie was now on his feet, one foot perched arrogantly on his chair, gesturing like a lunatic.

Everyone could only think: Disguised? You and Fatty Tang?

Fatty Tang's belly was as round and obvious as the sun! Who could possibly miss him, disguise or not? Who were they fooling?

The more they thought about it, the more their faces twisted in pain, as if someone had poured vinegar down their throats.

The second prince looked ready to cough up blood. He glanced longingly at the door, wondering why he had ever invited this lunatic in the first place. If he had known this would be the outcome, he'd rather have stabbed himself in the foot!

But the others didn't notice something that only Fang Bo Wen, sharp-eyed as ever, had caught.

Though Jun Mo Xie's mouth ran wild, every time the conversation subtly tried to return to the Jun Family's military strength, this young master would interrupt at just the right moment, talking nonsense, derailing everything. No matter how many times they tried to reevaluate, Jun Mo Xie would throw a verbal stink bomb, forcing them all off track.

Was it really random? Or intentional?

The more Fang Bo Wen watched, the more his heart trembled slightly. 'This debauchee... he's not as brainless as he looks, is he?'

He shook his head quietly. Either way, today's meeting seemed destined to fail.

Then Jun Mo Xie stretched lazily, grinning ear to ear.

"Hey, Second Prince," He suddenly slurred, casually wiping the corner of his mouth. "Is today just about drinking and boring chatter? Surely there's something more fun planned? We've got beauty, wine, and strong men here... wasting it on politics is such a crime!"

He leaned in, giving a lecherous wink toward Lady Yue'er in the corner, adding shamelessly:

"Maybe a little private afterparty, hmm? Invite Lady Yue'er over, let's compare whose hands feel better on that soft, round—"

The second prince didn't even let him finish.

His hands clenched under the table, face twitching violently, teeth grinding so hard they nearly cracked. Any other plans he had prepared were gone, completely burned and canceled. After spending one meal with this disaster of a man, he couldn't stomach another second of public humiliation.

Jun Mo Xie stretched again and yawned like a satisfied cat, completely oblivious, or pretending to be.

Everyone else? Sitting stiffly, eyes darting awkwardly as if they'd been struck by lightning.

The second prince stared at the door once more.

'If only I could leave first...'
