"No, she's a generation older than me, has connections with my dad." Di Yimo explained calmly and composedly.
"Oh, oh." Zhao Meiqi nodded immediately, then said with some excitement, "Isn't that the Oscar-winning actress, Nangong Xiao! Yimo, you actually know her?"
Nangong Xiao could recognize Zhao Meiqi, so naturally, Zhao Meiqi could also recognize Nangong Xiao. After all, the modeling and film worlds are interconnected.
"Yeah." Di Yimo nodded, then said to Nangong Xiao, "Aunt, this is Meiqi, my girlfriend."
Di Yimo lowered his voice for this last sentence, but it was definitely loud enough for Nangong Xiao to hear. Her ears weren't deaf, and these people heard it clearly!
After hearing this, she suddenly felt as if she had been struck by lightning. The hand she initially intended to extend for a handshake with Zhao Meiqi suddenly froze, and she was truly embarrassed.
"Hello, Auntie!" Zhao Meiqi extended both hands with enthusiasm.
