Jun Yichen stared at Su Xiang quietly. For a few seconds, he didn't say a word.
Chi Ai kept her arms folded, her cold eyes fixed on Su Xiang. Inside, her heart was pounding harder than she wanted to admit.
'Say something, Jun Yichen. Don't make me do it. I don't want to look like the jealous one.'
Finally, Jun Yichen spoke, his tone calm but firm. "My girlfriend's answer is mine."
Taking a deep breath, Su Xiang looked at Jun Yichen before nodding. "I understand," she said softly. With that, she stepped away.
Once she left, Chi Ai gave her a calm look before entering Jun Yichen's car. Inside, Jun Yichen closed the door and started driving away.
Watching their car disappear into the distance, Su Xiang's eyes dimmed. Her heart ached as she muttered to herself,
"I don't understand why I keep feeling drawn to him… even though he keeps rejecting me. He doesn't even show a bit of emotion toward me."
