Chapter 59 - The Evolution of Luck

As Lucky walked under the dimming sky of Magnolia, the forest air cool against his skin, he pulled up his status screen one last time more out of habit than necessity.

But what he saw made him stop dead in his tracks.

—————————————

Talent: Card

—————————————

Card: Power of Luck Chapter 2 – Lucky Evolution

—————————————

Tier: 10

—————————————

Type: Origin Power

—————————————

Description:

By some sort of miracle everything started to evolve A divine talent that defies common sense, granting the user the power to evolve anything - be it their body, abilities, talent, skills, or even fate itself.

—————————————

Mechanics:

Evolution Points (EP): Earned by spending Origin Luck (OL).

1 ) 1,000 OL → 1 EP (first use per day).

2) Subsequent uses in the same day cost 10x more OL (e.g., next EP costs 10,000 OL, then 100,000 OL, etc.).

—————————————

Evolution Choices:

1) Each EP spent grants three randomized evolution options.

2) Most are steady improvements (Tier 1-3), but rare options can appear

3)Higher EP spending = better odds of powerful upgrades.

Scope: Works on anything (self, items, skills, talents, etc.).

—————————————

Limitations:

1)Price per day usage limit.

2)Cannot revert to card form after activation.

3)Tier 10 provides no extra benefits (already maxed).

4) Doesn't work on Originl Talent

—————————————

Example:

Spend 1 EP → Might get a minor stat boost (Tier 1) or, with extreme luck, a reality-warping ability .

Spend 10 EP at once → higher chance for high-tier evolutions, it all comes up to luck.

Lucky's eyes widened."…This… this is insane…"

A talent that could evolve anything. His body. His mana pool. Even his Talents. The possibilities spiraled in his mind like fireworks

He could upgrade his body, fix his fragility. He could evolve Mana Thief into a domain that drains not only mana other forms of energy as well. He could turn Solid Script into a language that commands reality.

and then reality smacked him in the face.

OL: 0.

"…Oh," Lucky muttered, lips twitching. "I'm broke."

then he looked at the cost.

"1,000 OL for one point… and it increases tenfold after that?" He exhaled sharply. "I don't even have 1,000 OL right now."

With his mana now steadily recovering, he summoned the colossal Golden Eagle and vaulted onto its back. The wind tore past him as the bird soared toward the forest's heart. His clones would need to know about his… issue.

————————————————————————

It wasn't long before the Eagle descended into a clearing and Lucky found his clones busy… very busy.

The forest clearing where his clones trained was a warzone of magic.

The ground was cracked, scorched, and rebuilt a hundred times over. Some clones practiced Repara Charm, mending shattered earth. Others tested Hunger Domain, draining each other in a constant loop of mana exchange.

When Lucky landed, the clones barely glanced at him.

One even turned his back.

Lucky's brow twitched. "Excuse me? I'm the main body. Show some respect."

"Gather up!" he called.

The clones… looked at him. Then promptly went back to work.

Lucky's brow twitched. "I said.... GATHER UP!"

There was a chorus of sighs, groans, and complaints, but they obeyed, forming a loose semi-circle around him.

"Today," Lucky began, "might have been my last day."

Silence.

Then, all at once, every clone's face changed.

Because they knew. If Lucky died, they all did. No exceptions.

"I mean it," Lucky said. "Too much mana. My body nearly gave out."

"Don't panic," Lucky continued, holding up a hand. "I've got a temporary fix. You guys can use Hunger Domain to drain my mana until I'm stable."

One of the closer clones crossed his arms. "And the permanent fix?"

Lucky grinned. "That's where my new Talent comes in."

He projected the description for them to see. Gasps rippled through the crowd.

Shock. Awe. Then skepticism.

One clone stepped forward. "Isn't this… useless?"

Every head turned.

"Think about it," the clone said. "Our real power is Lucky Draw. We can get anything. Why evolve when we can just draw a better version?"

The others murmured in agreement.

Lucky smiled. "You're not wrong. But here's the problem luck isn't guaranteed. Even if I narrow the category, I could spend years drawing for a Tier 8 upgrade. But with Lucky Evolution, I can force growth. It's not about replacing Lucky Draw. It's about accelerating it."

He paused.

"And yeah… this talent is broken. But so is ours. We're not playing fair. We never have."

The clones fell silent. Then, slowly, they nodded.

"Anyway," Lucky said, "for now I'm summoning more of you to help in the Gate of Calamity. And before that… I'm doing a few draws for abilities we'll need."

The clones cheered.

But Lucky wasn't done.

He sat in the center of the clearing, hands on his knees.

He and all his clones required Three must have Abilities

1 personal storage space even though he have a space ring it can be stolen which can cuase to issues

2 Detection type ability

3 Teleport type ability with all of this in mind lets start with the first one

————————————

Lucky Draw:

————————————

World:-

————————————

Category: [Skill], [Manifestation], [Space], [Storage]

————————————

Energy:1,000/mana Energy Required: 1,000 × 2 + 1,000 × 2 + 1,000 × 2 + 1,000 × 2 = 8,000 mana

Mana Cost per Draw: 8,000

————————————

The first few draws were… not promising.

[Rusty Backpack] — holds exactly one loaf of bread.

[Miniature Warehouse Creation] — requires 3 years of construction.

[Foldable Cardboard Box] — waterproof, "probably."

Draw after draw, mana burned away. The clones started betting on how long it'd take.

"Fifty draws," one guessed."Hundred," said another.

By draw #297, Lucky's eye twitched. But then...

Tier: 4

(Each level increase the Conversion Efficiency by 1%)

————————————

Lucky smiled. "Perfect." Even without storing living things, it was a secure vault tied to him alone.

Second Goal: Detection Ability

————————————

Lucky Draw:

————————————

World:-

————————————

Category: [Skill], [detection], [Clairvoyance], [Scan]

————————————

Energy:1,000/mana

Energy Required: 1,000 × 2 + 1,000 × 2 + 1,000 × 2 + 1,000 × 2 = 8,000 mana

Mana Cost per Draw: 8,000

————————————

Early pulls mocked him.

[Mouse Tracker] — detects nearby rodents.

[Lost Keys Sense] — only works for car keys.

[Expired Milk Smell Amplifier] — why?

Finally, on draw #253:

—————————————

Tier: 3

—————————————

 —————————————

Mana: (Detection size) * per min

SP: (Detection size) * (per second/10)

 —————————————

Current detection size: 1 Km

Mental Consumption Reduction: 0%

(Each level reduce mental consumption by 0.5% )

(Each level reduce the mana consumption by 0.5%)

————————————

Note: continuous use of the ability, even for a short activation, can cause a normal Human brain to fry due to the never-ending flow of data overloading it

————————————

Lucky blinked.

"Wait… my detection should be 500 meters. Why is it 1 km?"

Then it hit him.

His mana was ☆ quality double the normal amount.

"So this scales with quality too?" He laughed. "This is broken."

He activated it.

Instantly, the world exploded with information.

He saw every clone. Every tree. Every insect. He heard the flow of mana in the air, felt the heartbeat of the earth.

But the data flood was overwhelming.

Only thanks to his Mental Recovery Talent and Universal Core did his brain not fry.

"Okay… I can use this."

He would have perfered observation haki After all the abilty to see couple of seconds into the future is OP no matter what.

then finally "Last one," Lucky said. then he thought should he get a portal type ability or blink type ability of flaying thunder god technique from Naruto Lucky decided not to add it as A skill because hopefully he get this as a talent

Third Goal: Teleportation

————————————

Lucky Draw:

————————————

World:-

————————————

Category: [space], [movement], [Portal]

————————————

Energy:3,000/mana

Energy Required: 3,000 × 2 + 3,000 × 2 + 3,000 × 2 = 16,000 mana

Mana Cost per Draw: 16,000

————————————

The failures this time were… bizarre.

[One-Way Door to Random Swamp] — usable once.

[Portal to Closet] — leads to a wardrobe in an unknown house.

[Coin Flip Teleport] — tails = safe, heads = mid-air fall.

Clones laughed. Lucky did not. By the time they were all nearly mana-drained,

This one truly took everything.

Clones almost collapsed. Summons faded. Even the S-rank monsters he'd stored began to flicker.

But he didn't stop.

Until, finally after 400 draws

Lucky laughed.

He raised his hand.

A swirling blue portal, three meters wide, tore open in midair.

He stepped through.

And emerged on the other side of the clearing.

The clones exploded in envy.

Their jaws dropped. "We WANT that!"

Lucky grinned. "Don't worry. I'm about to fix that."

He summoned one final clone the 2,000th.

He snapped his fingers. "We can reset clone talents if they dissipate."

He dismissed the new cloneclone, then re-summoned which made it so all shared the new ability. Cheers erupted.

"Alright," Lucky said, standing tall.

The 3,000 clones turned to him, eyes blazing with power.

He held up the Gate of Calamity card.

"Now," he said, "you go Farm."

And with a command, he opened the gate.

The world on the other side rotting, screaming, alive stared back.

Lucky smiled.

"Time to get OL."
