His brows knitted as he steadied Ryley's swaying figure, one arm firm around his waist. With the other hand, he gently dabbed the corner of Ryley's trembling lips with a clean towel, movements tender, careful.
"It's normal, Clyde… trust me, okay?" Ryley forced a smile, though his eyes shimmered with tears. He wiped them away with the back of his hand, trying to appear stronger than he felt. "I'll be fine… don't worry about me."
