Episode 1: The Rift
[OPENING — NIGHT, OAKHAVEN CITY]
The city sleeps beneath a sky filled with unfamiliar stars.
At the edge of Oakhaven, a lonely man stands on the roof of an abandoned church.
THEO, appearing to be in his mid-twenties, watches the night sky in silence. His eyes briefly glow with a faint golden light.
A distant bell rings.
Theo looks toward the heavens.
THEO: "Still watching me?"
A faint celestial symbol appears above him.
For a moment, the outline of enormous wings becomes visible behind his back—but they are wrapped in glowing chains.
Theo clenches his fist.
THEO:
"I told you. I'm not going back."
The symbol disappears.
Suddenly—
BOOM.
The entire sky trembles.
Theo looks up.
A massive black crack has appeared between the stars.
THEO:
"…That isn't supposed to be there."

[OAKHAVEN OBSERVATORY — SAME NIGHT]
Inside the observatory, KARINA, a young astronomer, hurriedly adjusts a telescope.
Her computer displays strange readings.
KARINA:
"That's impossible…"
She checks the data again.
The stars around the anomaly are moving in patterns that shouldn't exist.
Karina grabs her notebook and begins recording the coordinates.
Then she looks through the telescope.
Her expression freezes.
For the first time, she sees something hidden behind the rift—
A gigantic shadow moving between worlds.
KARINA:
"What… is that?"
The telescope suddenly cracks.
Karina steps back.
A whisper echoes through the observatory.
VOICE:
"Find the Heart…"
Karina turns around.
Nobody is there.

[CITY STREET — NIGHT]
Theo walks through the empty streets.
He suddenly stops.
A strange black substance drips from the air.
His expression becomes serious.
THEO:
"Abyssal energy."
A creature emerges from the darkness.
Theo raises his hand.
A golden blade of light forms in his palm.
THEO:
"You chose the wrong city."
The creature attacks.
Theo moves with supernatural speed, striking it with the blade.
The creature dissolves into black smoke.
But Theo notices something left behind.
A small glowing fragment.
He picks it up.
His eyes widen.
THEO:
"The Heart of Solis…"

[OAKHAVEN OBSERVATORY]
Karina runs outside after hearing the disturbance.
She sees Theo standing beneath the broken sky.
She freezes.
Behind him, his chained wings briefly become visible.
Karina stares.
KARINA:
"You're an angel."
Theo turns.
THEO:
"No."
Karina points at his glowing blade.
KARINA:
"Then what are you?"
Theo looks toward the rift.
His expression darkens.
THEO:
"Someone who was supposed to protect you."
Another tremor shakes the city.
The rift begins expanding.
Far above them, a pair of enormous crimson eyes opens within the darkness.
A deep voice echoes across Oakhaven.
MALAKOR:
"After centuries… the gates will finally open."
Theo looks up.
His golden blade ignites.
THEO:
"Karina, run."
KARINA:
"Not happening."
Theo looks at her.
KARINA:
"You found something inside that rift. I know you did."
A small smile appears on Theo's face.
THEO:
"You really are trouble."
Karina grabs her telescope equipment.
KARINA:
"And you're terrible at explaining things."
The rift suddenly explodes with dark energy.
Theo steps in front of Karina.
His chained wings spread behind him.
THEO:
"Then stay close."
