Ning pulled himself out of his burning apartment, anger rising through him. "Damn woman! Just because I wanted to check her strength, she threw me all the way here."
He wasn't hurt. His body was strong. But without a strong foundation, even a tower could be toppled. While his body was indestructible, it wasn't immovable.
Still, that shouldn't have been without consequences.
He could hear the wailing screams of his attacker, her fingers likely having been broken from the single attack. Attacking him was no different than attacking a solid block of metal with her full force. The only one losing was herself.
He jumped from the burning building and arrived back at the rooftop. "You sure pack a punch, huh?" he said, his left hand grabbing Larissa by the wrist before she could shoot again.
