"See didn't I tell you it'll all be fine. You might not have proof, but I know", Man Soo pointed at his heart and made a fist and hit J-Son's heart, "You know you didn't do anything wrong here too".
In Sik looked at him and sighed, "I don't know about that but Hyung it hurts".
"Ah, sorry. But you understood what I just said, right? Look even Han Jun agrees".
Both looked at Han Jun only to see him repeatedly keep his phone speaker near his ear after clicking on the screen. In Sik made a face that made his manager question his existence.
Man Soo coughed, "Maybe he agrees. Who knows?". He got up and took the phone with him. J-Son grabbed his hand immediately, "Hyung, just cause I am off doesn't mean you can steal my phone". Han Jun looked towards them both and went back to what he was doing.
"Haha, sorry. . .", he left feeling embarrassed. Man Soo looked back in case he is needed by his idol, ' Nope! Better leave this place before I become his punching bag', he thought to himself and whooshed off.
"J-Son. . . Do you have Earphone or EarPods?", Han Jun asked. It was his first sentence since they came to the cafeteria for a break. But he did assure J-Son that his hand was alright on the way there.
J-Son asked, "Do I look like I carried them with me?". Han Jun smiled, "Sorry. . . I know you are still worried about my hand, but look at this it's all fine. I'm using my phone as usual". He put the phone down to lift his hands up.
"See!".
"Really?".
In Sik turned around and poked his wounded hand. Han Jun tried to hold his pain, but his expression gave in. "See, is this how you are fine?", In Sik said. Han Jun shrugged himself, "No, it is really fine. It doesn't hurt much."
"Then how about this?", he held Han Jun's wounded hand. Han Jun twitched and tried to back off. In Sik started giggling, "You don't even know how to lie. . . Your face has all answers".
Han Jun grabbed his hand with his other hand and pulled him closer, "Then you know the answer to why it doesn't hurt that much?". He smiled looking at his reflection in In Sik's eyes as In Sik's expression changes. He wanted to pull his hand back but he couldn't.
The sounds of the Cafeteria seemed to fade for J-Son when the worries about the person in front of him. "But today you got hurt because you were with me", he said as he removed his hand that was not caught between Han Jun's hands.
Han Jun grabbed his other hand, "I willingly got hurt and I'm even proud of it. Can't you see it on my face, J-Son?".
J-Son started giggling again looking at the face he is trying to put up, "Okay okay, enough. You are just trying to make me smile", he pulled his hand back acting like he was before.
"So now what to do, should we go to practice or head back home?".
Park Han Jun smiled while he turned on his phone, "Let's go somewhere out to eat, but first let me listen to this again.
J-Son let out a frustrated sigh, "Okay then whatever". Han Jun went back to playing the audio again and again while J-Son was questioning his weird behavior wondering why he's playing it to remind him of his reason for misery.
#Grumpy Dragon Clumsy Prince
Man Soo entered the cabin and closed the door frustrated, "Boss, just cause something happened don't forget about what you said!".
Director Ji looked up, "Yeah, I know that phone. I wanted to-"
"Boss, do you know how troublesome it is, I don't have spare phone. My broken phone phone is not showing anything but it still rings! And I had to run to In Sik to call people-"
Ji Chung Hee sighed, "I wanted to-".
"that too up and down the lift and stairs, just to take a call for two days!! Because you said you would give me a new one!! Now I might even have reduced my weight too!"
"And also I. . .", Man Soo paused and looked at his usually grumpy boss's face.
Chung Hee had sat down looking at his Laptop. "So are you done now?", he asked. Manager Man Soo realized that he was blabbering soo much thinking Director Ji will be grumpy but he was as calm as smooth flowing river.
"Yeah", he put his expressive hands together, "I'm done, Boss".
"I searched all over the web for the best one in my free time and wanted to show it to you back home, but got busy", Chung Hee said. He pointed at Man Soo and gestured asking him to check it out.
Man Soo came around and looked at the screen only to be shocked. Chung Hee got worried, "What happened? You didn't like it?". Man Soo's jaw was still dropped low, "He-he. . .Is my eyes blurry or the number of zeros are a lot, boss?". He rubbed his eyes as he leaned forward.
"No, I just wanted to find the best one for you so-"
Man Soo turned around to look at Ji Chung Hee, their faces now close to each other. Chung Hee's eyes looked like it stopped in time while Man Soo was complaining about the prices. Chung Hee didn't hear thing. Manager Man Soo who always kept a distance from the grumpy dragon had now gotten closer, well this time he forgot about the distance because of amount of zeros he saw on screen.
Director Ji had moved as he clicked on the phone's ad, the music woke him up and brought Man Soo senses back.
"Oops, sorry, Boss. . . . . I didn't mean to-".
"So which one did you choose?".
Man Soo put his hands together, "Bosss, did you even hear a thing I said? I said I don't want any of these. If you have that much money, just give it to me in terms of food".
"Really?", Chung Hee asked without thinking. Man Soo gave a strange look to him. "Hm. . ", Chung Hee coughed, "I meant to say, really you don't want these?".
Kim Man Soo looked at him. Director Ji face seemed sad. But Man Soo misunderstood it as anger as he has never seen him sad. Man Soo smiled, "Why don't we do one thing? Let's go look for it instead of online. I always have bought them that way all life".
Chun Hee's eyes widened and his face lit up, 'Is he asking meet me outside of our job?'.
"Haha- Boss, what's wrong with you today? You keep zoning out!".
Chung Hee brushed his hair as he stood up, "Nothing, it's just today was hectic. Let's go tomorrow after work I don't have anything on the schedule then".
"Done, then. I'll show you what I actually want, Boss", Man Soo headed back. But right as he turned around his smile dropped, 'Noo, why did I have to ask him out. It's like I asked him for a date?', he thought to himself as he walked out trying to act nonchalant even though his hands were shaking.
#END
"See I knew it, J-Son. Something was not right!", Han Jun stood up suddenly making a loud noise that startled everyone around. Han Jun bowed down looking at everyone he had startled as a means to apologize.
"If I was in the mood, I would be on the floor right now", J-Son replied. Han Jun looked at him a warm smile. "Why don't we get your spark back, J-Son? I have an idea", he pulled him up, "Come on, Let's go!". He dragged In Sik with him before even hearing his answer.
"So, you dragged me all the way here because you wanted to stare at people in Flowery Cafe?".
Han Jun was looking around like he was searching for someone. He tapped on In Sik's shoulder, "It's fine. We are all covered so we can stare at people and they won't know it's you".
"Han Jun, I know you are trying to make me smile".
Han Jun smiled awkwardly, "Then if you know why don't you smile?". In Sik looked like he was on his last nerve. "Okay, Okay. Sorry, I just wanted to meet Ms. Heo here", he said as he continued to look around.
"Why? Why do you want to look for her now? Just look at your hand!! We could have went back so you could rest a-"
Park Han Jun patted In Sik's head, "I would a clue that somebody framed you with this audio. And if a someone who's in different fandoms posts about this it will look natural".
J-Son immediately pushed his hand down slowly, "What? Clue in audio?".
Han Jun played the audio from the news again. They both looked at each other as it played. In Sik couldn't hear thing. In Sik realized now why he was listening to his phone a little too much today. Han Jun nodded his head and smiled.
"Yeah, I think I'll call Ki Rin instead of listening now. She'll have something we can to listen with".
"And she'll know what to do with this too", Han Jun added.
