Liam's POV
I saw Ms. Ong got out of Ms. Avery's office. "Oh you're finally going to Toronto Ms. Ong?" i asked.
"Yes Liam because I might be late for my flight," she said then I answered with a nod. "Oh by the way don't forget what I said earlier, don't let Ms. Avery mad and if it's because of work don't let her be mad. You can't handle her personality," she explained.
"Don't worry Ms. Ong I will do my best so I can melt Ms. Avery's heart. Then she will not be cold and mad to everyone," I said.
"Well I will come here if I see her attitude to change you maybe got a promotion for her," she said that makes me excited.
"Don't worry Ms. Ong I will take your advices to me," I cheerfully said.
"Okay then I have to go. I might get late for my flight," she said then bid a goodbye to all the employees.
"Okay Liam do your best. This is the start of your job as a secretary so don't be weird and focus at your work," I said to myself.
"You're basically acting weird right now," a familiar voice behind my back said.
"Oh Ms. Avery I'm so sorry I'm just motivating myself for my first day as a secretary," I apologized.
"Well this might be your last day if you are just gonna stay there and blabber some words," Ms. Avery said while walking.
I follow her then ask her where are we going. "Ms. Avery can I ask where are going?" I asked.
"Just go with me and please can you be quiet for a while?" she annoyingly said.
I just salute and zip my mouth that make her roll her eyes. We got out of the building then go to her car and I open the door for her. I go to the back seats and sit comfortably.
"Am I your driver?" she ask. I got curious to what she said. She signaled me to go to the front seat beside her that I obeyed fast.
"Your sit belt," she simply said.
"Oh sorry," I apologized.
The whole ride was just silent. I don't want to also talk because she might be pissed because of me. After some minutes the car stopped. "I will just buy don't go anywhere," she said then go out. I follow her by my gaze and saw her going into the flower shop. After some minutes she finally got out and walk straight to the car. "Let's go," she simply said then start the engine again.
The car stop again and I analyze the place then got out also following her behind.
"Ms. Avery can I ask why are we here in the cemetery?" I asked.
"I'm visiting someone who's very special to me," she said then I just nod.
When I notice that Ms. Avery already stop across the grave I also stop. She place the flower on the side of the grave changing the other one. She also light the two candles.
'Samantha Miller-Avery.... Who is she?' I thought to myself.
"She is my mom," she simply said.
"I thought you have both of your parents?" I said.
"Did Sunny said?" she asked.
"You are a famous young CEO. Most of the magazine that I read that is including to business was your background. It says you have your both parents," I explained.
"She is my step-mother," she simply said that makes me nod.
"I will give you some space Ms. Avery so you can be able to talk to her. Excuse me," I said then go away to give them space.
Isabella's POV
When my secretary went away a sat across the grave of my mother. I caress her tombstone then a tear fell on my cheeks. "I miss you mom. How I wish I can rewind the time so I can be able to save you. Why did you finish yourself?" all my thoughts are in my head but I can't say it all.
"Dad didn't even visit me when I'm broken. I think he didn't have any concern on me. He love his new family in Toronto Canada. They are probably happy always while I'm here being lonely and sad because you are not here by my side." I am sobbing when suddenly my secretary call me. I first wipe off my tears before I face him.
"Ms. Avery I'm sorry for bothering you but the president of the company we are going to collaborate is now on our company waiting for you," he explained.
"Okay. Mom I have to go. There is an emergency in my work. I need to go there but I will go here if I'm free. I love you," I said before going back to my car with my secretary.
After some minutes we got to the company back. I head to my office then saw the president of my company collaboration.
"Mr. Gutierrez what brings you here?" I asked while signaling him to sit down.
"Well I just want to say to you how our companies will be united," he said.
"Don't worry sir I already know about it. It's just so easy," I said.
"Oh you must finally met my son Jacob," he said while sipping on his tea.
I pondered on what he is saying. "No I didn't met your son but why do I need to meet your son? I asked.
"Because it's part of the collaboration. Your dad already said that you agreed to be engage from my son so that our's and your company will be more powerful," he explained while I'm here being confused.
"My dad said what? I never had an agreement to be engage with your son. Why do I need to do that?" I asked.
"Come on Isabella Avery this is for the company. My son is also nice so you don't have to worry about it," he explained.
"Can I talk for my dad before I agree with this?" I asked.
"Yeah sure. I can give you one week to think for this agreement. Okay well I should go now. Nice meeting you Ms. Avery," he said then we shake hands then he exited to my office.
I'm getting furious by how my dad didn't even said to me the agreement. "Aaaarrggghhhh! Why he always control me even my love life? He want me to be engage with someone I didn't know?" Because of how furious I am I throw all my files and small furnitures inside my office. He didn't even bother to talk to me and just agreed like I am a toy he can throw to anyone or anywhere.
Liam's POV
While we are working we heard some loud noises coming from Ms. Avery's office. I was suppose to stand and go to her office when one of the employee stop me. "She will be okay. You will just make her annoy more."
"But what if she got a cut or bruise by that?" I asked worriedly.
"It is better if you not interfere in this kind of event," she said before going back to her sit.
After there is no more loud sound being heard I finally sat again to my sit.
