The days following the birth of the young Prince were a festive affair, and celebrations were held all over the Regions of Kanto and Johto.
Anira, May, and Iris were in love with the baby, and the Princess was extremely happy when she saw his eyes turning out to be violet, just like theirs.
One month later, the family gathered to take pictures, and the portrait of Aizen, Ilene, and Little Alex in her arms was created.
Anira wanted to stay at the Palace, but she had to return to Pallet Town to continue the research.
May, on the other hand, stayed behind as she started studying for the Licence Exam, which was five months away.
At Iris' request, when his little sister informed him that she was going to take Misty, Risa, and Leaf to the Dragonite Island, he let his Apprentice go with her.
She really wanted to explore Kanto and catch more Pokémon, and ever since she had seen his and Sabrina's Dragonite, she had always wanted one for herself.
Anira was more than happy to take Iris with her, and since Sabrina was going to participate in the Indigo Conference this year, she agreed to take Iris as her travelling partner to collect the Gym Badges.
The girls silently left one evening and Vein Travelled directly to the Rota Kingdom.
Aizen spent every day with his newborn son and his dear wife, helping her take care of their child, and in the little time he got for himself, he spent it in the Blanc Laboratory, working on research inspired by the Shadow Pokémon research but geared towards finding a Draconic Evolution of Eevee, or training his Braviary, Riolu, Zorua, Ivysaur, Nidorino, and the Sandile he kept for himself. As for the other one, he gave it to Iris as her birthday present.
On a few nights, he accompanied the Shadow Lugia on flights, taking Ilene with him, and as much as he was happy, he was sad too when the Lugia started treating him as its parent.
The baby Lugia had little to no memory of her mother, and Aizen did not know where to find her. Besides, Shadow Lugia had already reached the age where they could no longer stay with their parent, so even if he helped him find his mother, she would likely not keep him by her side.
And then there was the pair of Cosmog, who were being experimented on by Team Doom.
Solgaleo and Lunala, just like Lugia and Ho-Oh, were Noble Legendaries, and even though they could live for thousands of years, they were not immortal, and they even had children together in the form of Cosmog.
However, most of these Cosmog would remain Cosmog and merge with other Cosmog when close to their death.
It was very rare for them to evolve into Cosmoem, and it was even more rare for Cosmoem to evolve into either Solgaleo or Lunala.
He had asked Lyla about them, and she told him that there were only five Solgaleo and five Lunala in existence, and the oldest pair was on the verge of their deaths and would soon be replaced by their successors as the embodiment of the Sun and Moon, gaining some divine powers in the coming few years.
Even though Cosmog were very weak Pokémon, they had the power to warp themselves and those close to them, which was quite a handy ability, and the best thing was that they were very amiable and cheerful Pokémon, who had very pure feelings.
The pair he had was even funnier and immensely cute, so he decided to keep them with him.
If they ever evolved into Cosmoem, he would likely have to drop them off in Alola so the Tapu Guardians would be able to take care of them.
Thankfully, the four Guardians were safe, and Team Doom and Cipher had failed to find them.
Mewtwo also told the Prince that the four people who had escaped on the submarine were dead, and the little brother of Mew had also saved all the Pokémon inside the submarine and had collected some other things, which he kept in his chest inside the Promise Ball.
He was not returning to his Master Ball, and Aizen, even though he knew he could send him to the Pokéball, decided to let him stay out as long as he would not harm anyone inside the Promise Ball.
The Arcane Creed was still trying to find any traces of Team Doom, if they were still active, and Aizen knew that they were not dead yet. The Shadow Lord was still out there somewhere, and Team Doom was going to surface again in the future.
Thankfully, Dr. Yung died on the Citadark Isle, and all the research they were working on was destroyed together with the island and that submarine.
The Orayen Prince laughed when he learned from Bill that Riley and Phoebe were dating again, and at the end of the seventh month, he and his family attended the wedding of Bill and Anabel at the Orayen Palace.
The wedding was held a week before Aizen and Ilene, together with their baby, left for the Rota Kingdom for the Annual Rota Games.
And on the other side, in Pallet Town, Leaf was preparing for the Silver Conference, which was only a month away.
She had managed to find the right members for her team, which had made it even stronger.
Leaf now had a total of thirty-six Pokémon on her team. She had captured eleven Pokémon since the start of her Silver Conference journey.
Aizen had been keeping tabs on her, and had met her Pokémon whenever she sent them to the Blanc Laboratory, and he was impressed by how she had trained all of them.
He found it quite funny and also smart that his assistant had not evolved her Eevee into a Leafeon. Instead, she had evolved it into a beautiful and powerful Sylveon, which suited its nature even better.
Unfortunately, her Marshtomp was not going to evolve into a Swampert before the Conference. It was only a month old when she had received it at the Indigo Conference, and it would take at least four more months for it to evolve.
However, with the additions of Ampharos, Quilava, Skarmory, Lapras, Heracross, Ursaluna, Dragonite, Poliwrath, Electabuzz, Bayleef, and an Annihilape, her already strong team was now incredibly strong.
Her Quilava, Bayleef, and Electabuzz were close to reaching the threshold for their next evolution, and her Ivysaur had already evolved into a Venusaur.
A day after he arrived at the Rota Kingdom, he received a call from Leaf, and he was surprised when she told him that she was going to take on the Orange League Challenge to prepare for the Silver Conference. She intended to win the Orange Cup within a month.
Misty, Risa, Iris, and Sabrina were going to accompany her during her journey through the Orange Islands.
"Don't lose." He grinned at her, and Leaf blushed at his words before she nodded her head and promised him that she was not going to lose.
Time passed by very quickly, and exactly four weeks later, four days before the start of the Silver Conference, he received news from Leaf.
She sent him the picture of her holding the Cup, and behind her, Charizard, Venusaur, Exeggutor, Pidgeot, Golem, and Starmie stood, looking very happy.
Aizen called her, congratulated her, and since she was on the back of her Pidgeot, flying towards the Indigo and Silver Plateau to register herself there as the Pokémon Village was going to open in the next few hours, he did not talk to her for long.
The Prince really had nothing else to do than to take care of his baby and train his Pokémon once Ilene got busy with the preparations of the Annual Games.
She had missed them last year, so she was making them even more grand this year.
Even though he had no real interest in the Games, he still accompanied her during the mornings before he would retire to his room and watch the matches of the Silver Conference with Little Alex in his arms.
Both Ash and Leaf sailed through the Preliminary Rounds, looking very strong, and both had gathered 16 and 14 points respectively.
The girl from Pallet Town was the hot favourite to win the Silver Conference when she defeated a former Kanto League Winner in the Round of 16, and Ash too managed to make it to the Quarter Finals after defeating Paul.
The final day of the Annual Games was on the day the Quarter Finals were being held, but thankfully, Leaf's match was in the afternoon.
As soon as the Games ended, he rushed back to the room together with Ilene, and whilst the entire Palace was busy preparing for the Royal Ball, the Queen and her husband watched Leaf Green's match against a Trainer named Trip, who had reached the final of the Vertress Conference last year.
He was the second favourite to win the tournament, and their match had the Orayen Prince and his wife on the edge of their seats.
In the end, it all came down to Leaf's Charizard and Trip's Haxorus, and even though the Dragon was tired after the last round, it put up a fight of a lifetime against Igneel.
When the Haxorus finally fell, the crowd loudly cheered, and so did Ilene, which caused Little Alex to start crying.
It did not take long to console the little Prince. All she had to do was feed him some milk, and then both Aizen and his wife got ready to attend the Royal Ball.
It was a long night, one they thoroughly enjoyed, and the two of them made love to each other until the hour before dawn.
They woke up a little late, but without any haste, they got ready and packed up their things.
As the Queen of Rota Kingdom, she had to be present for the Semi-Finals, Bronze Final, and the Final of the Silver Conference. She had already missed them last year due to Team Doom's threats, but she was determined to attend the Conference this time.
They left the Palace at eleven in the morning, and they reached the Indigo and Silver Plateau before the start of the first Semi-Final, which was between Leaf Green and Ash Ketchum.
