I laid back in my bed and began to wonder what Tao might've been up to while I was away at that meeting but I don't think I need to worry too much.
Again, she'll probably talk to me tomorrow anyway so I should be able to see why she didn't come back last night.

Without being able to say a word I felt arms wrap around me and warm breath before she spoke.
"Sorry I've been busy." Mekella says while her arms remain wrapped around me.
"It's okay, just feel like you're a lot more distant." I reply while laying there.
"You've been feeling a lot of different things I'm sure. It's normal, you couldn't feel these things as much when you were in Nilot." She says while laying with me.
That was definitely true, I wasn't the same person there as I was now.
I'll be reminded a million times over I'm sure but what matters is that I care a lot about the people close to me. That was happening towards the end of my journey in Nilot too.
