Chapter 43 - 01

So basically, the universe is expanding that in due time, it's so stretched that atoms won't be able to hold itself into form thus everything will eventually be disassembled. However, that only applies to tangible things.

In my opinion, a conceivable living being is made of 1) a physical body and 2) a consciousness.

because,

without having 2, that's pretty much a corpse or simply a non-living thing.

and without having 1, so far, we have no possible means of conceiving the being.

but,

just because we can not yet determine something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist (a leaf that fell on the amazon even if no one saw it means a leaf still fell after all.

if so,

doesn't this implies that even if the universe did a big stretch, we still gets to live?

however,

this only applies in the assumption that the consciousness is indeed separate from the body.

to criticize this assumption,

the brain is the core of human (YES THE BRAIN NO THE HEART). from voluntary and involuntary movements, hormone release for various reasons (study chemistry and biology since i barely understood which does which), memory, analysis, personality and etc is pretty much by the brain (and genes?)

basically,

a being with no brain is pretty much dead and a it's possible to hijack the brain to alter a person.

meaning,

there may be no such thing as soul and a living being's consciousness is simply the result of a functioning core (brain)

to provide a possible solution to the impending doom, I believe that it is important first to answer the question "What makes a living being".

in order to prove as to which of the two assumption is correct (agreeing there are no more others), either of the ff must first be met.

1. To be able to perceive state of life (soul, consciousness) that has no physical body

-with this, the assumption that it is possible to live even without body is true.

2. To be able to physically simulate a condition of a living body (excluding natural reproduction)

- if able to create a body with a functioning brain where in the result manage to have it's own consciousness, then it's pretty much safe to assume that there is indeed no soul.
