It took Alex a few seconds to recollect himself after the explosion and begin wondering what had happened just now.
His very first thought was that someone else was interfering with the contest. Either it was one of Ashmaker's subordinates, or perhaps Ashmaker himself.
However, the chances of that being true were near zero. Interfering with the opponent when the contest didn't ask for it would not be a good look for the Fire God. More than that, the Sky God stood there as the moderator. If anyone had done something deliberately, then they would have immediately been stopped.
The fact that the Sky God remained unmoving meant that no one had done anything to him. At least, not deliberately.
"What's wrong?" the Fire God asked. "Is the Sun God struggling to form a sun of his own? Come on. Live up to your name."
Alex frowned. The man was goading him. He definitely knew something that Alex was missing. He would have to figure it out.
