Pearl could hardly think about the dead wolf when the others turned their gazes toward him. The first to lunge for him was one of the other two Immortal Spirit realm beasts, striking at Pearl with White Tiger's Golden Claw.
If Pearl took this hit, there was a great chance that he would be critically injured. That would leave the others to kill him within seconds.
Without hesitation, he teleported away, arriving next to one of the other White Tigers.
The White Tiger reacted just in the nick of time, her body glowing with a golden glow even as Pearl's spear came close to striking. The force of his attack sent her crashing backward, but it hardly did anything to actually hurt her.
Pearl had half his attention on the formation that had been prepared, used to keep him from teleporting away. If he could reach the edge of it, maybe he could—
