"Soul Confluence takes a lot out of the one helping the other. If one is not at least 2 realms stronger, then the result becomes disastrous for both parties," the tortoise answered. "Even then, it takes so much out of us that we have to take breaks before we can continue."
"To evolve an Immortal, if the one helping is not a Celestial, there is a good chance they will both die."
Alex nodded to their words, taking it all in.
"Is it impossible for someone in the Divine realm?" Alex asked. "Could they not help Pearl?"
"Divine realm? No, I do not think so," the snake said. "It would take so much out of the soul of the beast to help him that they would undoubtedly die."
Alex remained silent, thinking.
